tsk tsk tsk...

What's with the bruise and the muscle STRAINS?!!!
Oh well, I played PAINTBALL yesterday! It was at the Discovery Centre... the place's called "Crossfire Paintball". So yeah... It was tiring... but pretty cool! haha~ But... SCARY!

We had all 5 girls in one team, so well, it was... really funny... we're a very confused bunch of people. The morning pour stopped pretty quickly. That was a good thing. Or we wouldn't be able to play. What a busy weekend.

I'm so glad today is done with.

I had 60% of my COM 101 projects handed in and presented today. The presentation was a little... crappy, but overall, i think it was short, sweet and ALRIGHT lah...

I mean, we did it SO last minute! So I didn't expect much. GOOD JOB peeps... haha!

So, yesterday's paintball was 5 on 5. And the 2nd round we played was a game called "Capture the Flag", we had to capture 2 flags and bring it back to our home base. There were lots of rules and restrictions, so well... it's like that. Ummm... Yeah. I have a mid-bad bruise on my right arm cos the paintball hit it directly... ON THE FLESH! I was a bit petrified then cos we were against a team of ALL GUYS who had ALREADY gone thru NS.

I think.. I was pretty much cornered up lah. 3 guys were like, in front of me, so I was like, AHHHH! in my head but of course I don't SCREAM... anyway, I just.. "bam-bam" and hit the guy in his face mask. It's so FUNNY lah! *splat* I saw that he got a really bad shock. 'cos the paint is red and it just splattered onto his mask, so he couldn't see. AHHH, so funny.... I was super close. But some of them were like, firing at me. That's the cause of the bruise. And it's not a 3m radius and further "thingo". He was SO CLOSE and he SHOT me! rwarr...

So... they were really cheaterbugs lah. Steal our flag! And then we almost won. But, whatever. It was cool shooting at people!! So cool~

I was really tired today and I think I made a fool out of myself during the presentation. I couldn't hold the cards 'cos my hands would tremble. So, I put the cards on the table and ... read and look at the audience and read.. Ahh, stage-fright thingy. But I was amazed I didn't stutter.. Like I always do... DID I? I lost my voice at first... So I had to clear my throat and say "sorry"... I hope Sharmila didn't think I was actually kidding around. It wasn't on purpose! haha...

We had to do the UGLY duckwalk all over the place 'cos the guys were so scary! They were all over the place lah! UGHHH~

The face-off I had with Jane was pretty funny though, 'cos she's "the enemy" and then we were... facing each other at the wall... but we didn't dare fire at each other! I mean, I didn't want to... we should have just tapped each other and go back to the bases. It was funny lah... The people in the safe zone were just... crapping about us... saying "wah, they same team or different team one?" and.. "they're having face-off ahh.. " and I dunno what else. But I was pretty scared... So I didn't know what to do... SIGH!

The GREEN TEA FRAPPE at Starbucks is GOOD! I liked it. Haha, and it's green. Like, really~ We went to town after the game, to have dinner. Totally missed lunch! haha... So, we were super hungry lah!

Anyway, nothing much and I'm a bit lazy to type anymore 'cos I really need to do something like, play a game on my laptop, I really need to do something fun after the busy busy weekend.

[tata!]

I'm exhilarated! //aka THRILLED-

Know why?!

My "The Bravery" skin got "Skin of the Day" on Blogskins! *yay*

That's happy news.

I don't usually get Skin of the Day-s like so many designers do.
Well, only thrice, including this time.

On August 7th, 2005, my Green Day v.3 got "Skin of the Day".
On March 23rd, 2006, my Flashy Orange Retro (it doesn't even sound right) got "Skin of the Day".

It's an ACHIEVEMENT, so REJOICE! -yeah-

OH, so many things to do... so many things to worry about... I'm off~ lots of stuff DUE! =|

and... crappy things is my FLU's coming back while my SANDFLY bites got BETTER... as in, not so itchy anymore. What's wrong with me?!

GARH!!!

Post Rainbow Falls crap:

the worst:
SANDFLIES
I hate sandflies. I don't know what they look like but, dude, they're incorrigibly disgustingly sick bugs with such vicious poison.

The itch has been spreading all over my body. Like my other trekking buddies, I'm dealt with a heck of a torture coming from what seems to be eternally-spreading sandfly itch. This is sick.

It wasn't so bad when I came back from Malaysia. But it got worse this week. Staring at my right leg, I can easily say I've like, 20 red swollen spots all over. The left leg's got a string of spots running down the back of my knee. I'd rather be bitten by leeches.

It doesn't help that the clinic was closed both times I wanted to visit the doc.

It doesn't matter whining now anyway. It's gonna bore you so let's just hope it goes away soon, right?

Now, at least a good thing to rejoice upon is my cough and flu is recovering by itself. No way could I possibly stick to the strict schedule of taking medicines. To tell you the truth, I'm always nagged at for not taking medicines at the right time, getting too lazy to take the meds, or completely tossing the word "medicine" out of my mind.

I'm so glad there's no UGC homework for tomorow.

It's nearing 12am! Another day. October seems to come and go so quickly. My schedule's tight up ahead. I hope this reminds me frequently.

Rough seas ahead, Captain!
- Research Paper Presentation on Friday (I'm SO gonna FREAK out)
- Halloween Dinner on Saturday (so are we going or NOT?! I wanna see how it goes! Seems kinda fun, I've been waiting SO long to dress up as Jack Sparrow...)
- PAINTBALL on Sunday!!! (This is going to be viciously cruel. But it's gonna be damn fun and WHOA, I'm gonna BLAST you people! Watch out! J.Z's in the arena baybeh!)
- Objectivity Research Paper due next Monday
- Com 101 PR Presentation next Monday

some things suck.

Like...
Yesterday I was doing my English essay and I got into this "homeworkSUCKS" mood.

OUT-OF-THE-POINT anyway.

I've just wasted 1 freakin hour trying to debug the stupid problem that my laptop is having with the sound device.

Luckily, it's working now or I'd get PISSED with a double-p.

It's been a bad bad computer. Something's wrong with it. LAGGY, SLOW, LAGGY...

You get it.

Rainbow Falls Part Four

"the road home..."

still Sunday, 15th Oct.

The coach ride? The aircon was strong, the weather outside was hot. So it was perfect, for a moment. Guess what. I was pretty silly 'cos I forgot to bring my windbreaker up to the bus and as it gradually got colder, I was like... "OH SHOOT! Should've brought it up!"

Nevermind about that. The funny thing was, it was much easier to fall asleep now so Loisa was sitting on my left and as we both dozed off - we didn't really reclined our seats 'cos Steph and Eileen were behind us - we kept knocking our heads onto each other. I mean, okay. I think it was I who kept knocking onto her. Of course, not on purpose. But, OW! Who ask her head to keep leaning to my shoulder. So I kept *bang* then wake up, doze off... *bang* then wake up again then doze off... I think it happened like 3-4 times or more lah! It was really crappy. Haha, but comical~

We both woke up at the same time after awhile and she said, "We forgot to go to... ", followed by a blur face and then a "forget it". After that, she turned her back on me and try to go back to sleep! But of course being such a pester-bug, I asked her, "What thing, what thing?!" ... Then she confessed.... She said she had a dream and we forgot to go to this event or tell someone that we forgot to go to some event or something. HAHA.. That's funny.. Off we went to sleep again!

After some bangings, I suddenly dreamt that my lil bro was leaning on my shoulder, sleeping. So I felt a little frustrated and pushed his head away from my shoulder. [as I am typing this, I kept sniggering and laughing lah. it's darn funny, I thought. But sorry loisa!] I woke up and realised I actually shoved Loisa's head to the left and she was like, "huh?!" -completely blur kinda look. Then I burst out laughing already... haha... That was damn funny... Okay, so I told her and she immediately gave me that -.- face. Of course I apologised... I think. SORRY AH!!!

Anyway, we soon reached Mersing, the place where we got a break the first time when we went thru the 6hrs ride. The toilet queue was long... but after that, Loisa and I went to buy some chocolates! We got 'em from the petrol station kiosk there... What a delicacy... LOL.... we bought 2 bars, one milk bar and the other with hazelnuts.

Another comical side of Loisa... After we bought the first bar, we went up the bus and gave Steph and Eileen some. Then they wanted more, so we went down again to stock up. 2 more bars. But as we walked to the kiosk, the majority of those ODAC people headed off to the bus, so we had to run there quickly. I grabbed the bars and queued to pay for 'em. Then Loisa rushed out to the bus and screamed, "STOP THE BUS, STOP THE BUS!" to the uncle. The bus driver said, "Don't worry, still got a few people haven't come up" - or something like that - I think she was super frantic. I was wondering why she ran up so quickly. They wouldn't leave without us. FG was still at the cashier, queueing up behind me! I think she didn't noticed him. Haha. It must've been quite an embarassment for her. MUST'VE!

ERRR, I'd be utterly embarrassed.

Anyway, we continued on and the leader of the trip asked for who was going to eat seafood at Larkin. Well, majority went of course. But we 5 UB people didn't go 'cos we wanted to go home earlier.

Majority of group 2 didn't go for the seafood though. Only Jean, Caleb, Rex and William went. Haha... oh well.

We reached Larkin at around 6+ and got some food at Mcdonalds. Well, it was totally unappetising! TOTALLY. I ate only 3 nuggets and tarpowed everything along in my bag back to Singapore. We felt super cheated 'cos the cashier auto-upsized our meals lah! I lost RM50 there, carelessly. I don't know why. I think it may have dropped out. So I was pretty sad... :( But Loisa payed extra for me for the upsize, so THANKS! That's like, very nice of you... :)

I should treat you to a tongue jelly sometime.

lol...

Okay, so afterwards we went off in a bus towards Johor, or rather Singapore. It was pretty jammed, so we got off the bus and walked towards the Causeway. It was just absolute HORROR afterwards, I tell you. I felt super duper duper MISERABLE during the walk back to Singapore, until we reached the nice air-conditioned Singapore customs, it was horrible.

The trip was utterly exhausting, considering our muscles were already aching like "don't know what" and having our huge bagpacks on our tired backs. Haha, I'm not exagerrating! The air was the WORST! I've gotta say this: "AIYOOOOOOO!".

The pollution was bad as it is, but the haze is also affecting Malaysia. I couldn't have proper breaths 'cos I'd feel awful. Then we had to squeeze like sardines through the packed Malaysian customs which had very few lanes and no queue lines at all. It was really lousy management in there. It's just, if you have the ability to squeeze through, you get pass quickly! You let someone through, you lose time. Something like that. I was so squished I couldn't really breathe properly. I was afraid if there were little children or old people stuck in there for too long. Man!

Oh well, so umm... I was left behind for quite awhile with strangers all around me and the gals are squished ahead already. But of course, being me, I was quite lucky to get ahead and find them. Then I just barged ahead lah. This is what you gotta do. They didn't move much and had gone to a lousy direction so I moved further to the right, where it's easier to pass. Eileen clung to the back of my backpack I think, but the others just stayed behind and... lagged... So I guess we were one of the first few to pass. Haha. Both of us had our passport stamped and quickly got to the crowd-less area with air con to wait for the peeps to pass. After everything, we just went off to the direction of the causeway...

Along the way, we had to go down this escalator into a crowd of people. That's where all the drama unfolded. 2 really young children were behind Loisa and I when we went down the escalator, and there were many people behind us. But as we got down, the crowd at the base of the escalator didn't move and inch. There was no space and when we got down, the people just kept piling onto our backs and the lady behind us was like, "STOP STOP, there are children here!" It was just, TOTAL FRENZY! People had to run up the escalator where they came from, and finally some guy pressed the "stop" button. Luckily no one was injured. But the children got so frightened that they peed! Loisa's sandals got peed upon and my right slipper too. It was disgusting! But we had to deal with it.

I didn't realised it was pee until Jean said that. And then we realised... YUCK.

Of course, I've washed my slippers already.

The walk back.. was eneventful and miserable afterwards... nothing much happened.

The motorcycles were as usual, loud and scary. And then we reached the Singapore customs! WHEE! It was bliss! There were many stations, there were queues, and good air-conditioning. We went to the left lanes and saw a few lanes with low traffic at the sides. But then it was for some scanning thing. We were unfamiliar. So we just ignored it. By that time, we were separated into 2 groups. Eileen, Loisa, Jean, Caleb and I on the left lane and Sebastian, Louis, Stephanie, Krystel and Sam on the far right. Well, to our surprise, some customs officer came to us and told us to go to the express lanes... It was fast lah! Just scan our passports, input our fingerprints and we can pass. Good. Now that I know that. Haha...

So after that, we waited like, 5 minutes or more before the others came out. =) *shocking*

Loisa, Sam and I were the only ones taking mrt back while the others went off in taxis.. We three went in the wrong direction and walked extra and climbed extra stairs lah! :(

Can't believe it.

But we promptly got home soon after in trains and buses. :) I think I reached at say, 11pm or so. I just kept munching on fruits to get the fibre in. Haha...

On tuesday, well.. last tuesday, we were supposed to go help our group wash the tents. So I got up earlier, so that I can reach at 11am to help wash the tents. Loisa and I were both sick and she had lost her voice. Hah... But as we went there, we walked wrong way, and lost our way. But anyway, uhhh... Rex was the only one at the Odac room and the tents weren't there yet. At last, we just hung around till 11.30am 'cos we had UGC lecture at 11.45am. Hah... so we went for NUTTIN lah...

Crapp.

Rex asked us what time we reached home. And he was APPALLED when we told him 10plus, 11pm... In case you didn't know, he was one of those people who went for seafood. Guess what time he reached home... around 9pm. Our faces just went.. black.

CRAPPIER!

We so so so should've gone for seafood lah~

:'( -cries-

So, that's about it...

END

p.s. (I'm still sick with flu and itching all over with sandfly bites. Good thing the muscle aches went off about 2 days after Sunday)

3:09 pm

Okay, so it's been a week since the Rainbow Falls trek and I still haven't finished my blogging posts about it. Yesterday, I went out with the peeps to have a formal dinner. Okay, not exactly formal, but something that's not very ordinary. Everyone was expected to dress up but the only few people who truly dressed up were Raymond and his girlfriend. Then Krystel too. Oh, I was in such a dilemma yesterday. It's like, I told them I'll be wearing a skirt. But then I fumbled and was thinking if I should wear this skirt or that 'cos I was going for English lesson first at school, and I didn't want to turn up in such a nice frilly outfit. So I just settled upon a nice tee, jeans and a light green denim jacket. It looks alright... I think. But I wore wedges. So that oughta made up for not wearing a skirt. I thought I'd be the only girl who will be wearing pants. But it turned out that majority were in jeans! Like, ELizabeth, Steph, Christine, Eileen... so I was like, phew! But Krystel wasn't too happy about me breaking the deal. I told Elizabeth beforehand and everyone of us were... "jean-ed" so... HAHA. Whatever!

Dinner at Tony Romas was WHEE~ great! I did not purposely but in actual fact in coincedence actually saved space in my stomach for the dinner. Well, I woke late and had brunch at 11 in the morning, so I didn't eat till dinner. Haha... Oh well. It was a good thing 'cos my dinner was absolutely... filling! I had honey pork ribs and bbq chicken with baked potato and cole slaw. But wow. Dinner was great! Haha... My combo meal costed $29!!! Krystel kept saying I was so greedy lah!!! 'Cos Jocelyn told her I wanted French Onion Soup. NO LAH! There's beef inside and I can't eat that. NO BEEF. Jocelyn was the one who wanted it BADLY. - it feels so bad to be innocently maligned with something so crappy - oh heck, I'm spending LOTS of money this month... REALLY.

First the $70 for Rainbow Falls, $19 for the water bag for the trek, RM50 I lost at Mcdonalds, $35 for paintball next next Sunday, Halloween Dinner which I would most probably attend... about $12 excluding costume rental! Then... last night's dinner and the piano bar drink, which costs $9! AHHHH~ the horror... I'll be spending lots of money this month. So unlike me! Plus... I want to watch so many movies!

1. Talledega Nights
2. Rob B Hood
3. The Prestige
4. Scoop

ahhhh~

It's crazy...

So... I'm a bit afraid to count the total. But everything comes from my own pocket money except the RM50 I lost... and $20 these 2 weeks on my ezlink card top-up... OH MAN!

Okay... so I think the piano bar at the Grand Copthorne yesterday was pretty relaxing... though it got a little boring. But it's okay at the end, I got to talk to Jocelyn and Steph. I was in between Elizabeth and Akira for the most of it and I didn't have much to talk to them about. GEE... Haha... It's okay. I think the experience was quite nice. I tried a mocktail, Shirley Temple. And then a few sips of Steph's Bloody Mary (I'm not sure about the name - I think it's that. Some tomato and celery thing. IT'S NICE LAH!!!). They all didn't really like it and then thought I got drunk after a few sips.

. . . (=.=)

Anyway, let's continue on the

Rainbow Falls Part Three!!!

Which is SO EXCITING RIGHT?
I think I've gotta end the trilogy here, today. If not, it's not gonna be a trilogy. It's gonna be a four part thing. Lets see how it goes~

So we spent LOTS of time in the river bathing... and I got so shivering cold. But it's alright 'cos when we got out of the river, all that lethargic feeling and sleepiness just went away. After climbing out, we made a grand entrance to our campsite. Our group members were all busy cooking already and they asked if we all floated downstream and got lost or something. Haha!

-nope, we were just enjoying bathing in the river (sniggers) -

Take a look at the snapshot I took from our campsite outlooking the hills!

So we got changed in the tents, wiped up and got down to cooking. Well, not me actually. Eileen and Stephanie went back to grp 1 so it was left with us Krystel, Loisa and I. We sat at the ground sheet but Loisa and Krystel were assigned to cooking pasta while I, sitting behind them, couldn't reach the cooking stuff and had to watch them do all the work. GARH! I got bored, and just slept there will they continue cooking. I offered to help, but Loisa just asked me to watch. WATCH?! No thanks. I just dozed off behind them while they did the pasta. The others had a lot of stuff to cook too! I'm not sure who but one of the seniors said that the people in Rex's group would have good food 'cos he's full of ideas when it comes to dining. Even out in the wild. HAHA. That's good! But honestly, I think we got the best food. We even got an ice-box! Such rare pleasures. We had ice cold Green Tea, rojak-ish potato carrot thingy, curry with bread, nice fattening cheesy pasta, some kinda fish and ... I'm not sure if there're more. But then, it's totally considered a feast already, in the condition that we were in! Amazing lah.

So our dinner was nice and we needed to pee. Jean brought us to the "loo" which is a few metres from the campsite. It was not exactly dark so we had to go further. No one could see us from there and we all squatted in a row and peed! It was pretty gross but we gotta make do with it. It's the only way we could do it! Haha.. not in the river.

Yeah... so, after that we went to wash our hands at the river and 2 guys from our group were going to bathe, so they chased us away. -bleh!- There was a man-made bridge that overlooks the river and we wanted to go up there to take pictures but realised they wouldn't want us taking pictures while they bathed, so we said, "later". But we didn't get a chance anyway because it got dark REALLY QUICKLY. When we say, "dark", it's completely DARK. Without a fire, or a lantern, we really wouldn't be able to see a thing.

After washing our hands, we went back to the campsite to offer our services to wash the mess tins and cutleries. So we brought those stuff to the river and after washing, it got really dark. When we went back to the campsite, it got really boring... After packing some stuff and getting our torches and everything, we went to pee again. It has been about an hour or so anyway; that means we took super long washing our utensils. No wonder the sun was gone...

We went into the tent to put our stuff, then came out to sit on the groundsheet and wanted to just, hang out. BUT!!! DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA!

HUGE Flying ants were just dropping from everywhere onto anywhere. Our heads, slippers, body, there were COUNTLESS, especially in the dark, we couldn't even see where the ants were. Our only source of light was the thing attracting the bugs to our campsite and we had to turn off the lights.

The bugs were everywhere so we just switched off everything and seek refuge in out tents. The girls all hurried into the tents but the floor of the tent was really prickly. Anyway, it doesn't matter. We just started battling the bugs that were in the tent. Mostly small ones, but then there were a few large ones anyway. But we have a WEAPON . . . Loisa the bug hunter! She was the one who was least timid so she started using tissue and catching all the flying ants and throwing them out. In minimal light. The torches were rather dim except for mine, 'cos mine was that really powerful white light torch with many bulbs. It was good stuff! I didn't dare switch mine on because whenever I did that, all the tiny bugs just irritatingly swarmed around my hand. *eek alert*

After awhile, we devised some methods... first, the guys cleaned up the electric lantern and rid it of bugs. They turned it off, then brought it into the tents for us. Then we zipped the tents. After turning on the light in the tent, we lured the bugs in our tent to that source of light, and passed it to the guys outside. HAHA... But after everything was settled, it was around 8pm or so. We had to wake up at 3am the next day, but we were just.. not sleepy after so much ACTION! Battling bugs~

A moment later... Sebastian asked us if we wanted to go see fireflies. Well, DUH! I haven't seen them in all my life so of course I wanted to see them. But the bugs outside? A bit hesitant then... but Loisa and I wanted to see them badly. I just followed and then the girls, seeing us all go out, also went out. We stumbled about in the dark and couldn't find our slippers. We had to off all the lights 'cos we didn't wanna risk getting all the bugs in our tent again. So... we head off after finding our slippers... into the dark path to see fireflies.

WHAT A BEAUTY.

They were just flashing and flashing in a tree... flash flash flash... There. Up in the trees.

Many of them. It was just... beautiful!

After a while, they slowly disappeared 'cos I think they sensed us coming. But we kept REALLY quiet and switched off all the torches. They appeared AGAIN! SWEET~

Heading back to camp was quick and we got into the tent, about 10 of us squeezed in to play a few games. Playing heart attack, then moving on to Bluff! with Loisa's UNO cards. It was FUN! Then we were introduced to a modified version of bluff by Louis.

sidetrack a little...
Loisa is a girl, the Loisa who's my friend. I don't know if I told you all beforehand.
But Louis is a guy, one of our group mates. It's so funny when those seniors started calling Louis and then Loisa answered, "Yeah?!". We had to say, "not you! not you!". Then she'll, "huh?! OH!!!".
It's pretty funny...
And when trekking, they were partners so Louis kept calling Loisa "Louis" while Loisa kept calling Louis "Loisa". Okay. That's confusing.

Bluff was pretty fun! We played till about 10 plus or 11pm... and then we had a visit by Lijing, a girl from another group. By that time, we were playing "truth or dare" for the 3 losers of the game. It was William, Krystel and Loisa. (HAHA) The truth was... some question I'll elaborate later and the dare is damn funny. The person had to take the lantern out of the tent, switch it on, hold it high above his/her head and wait for all the flying ants to come swooping down. Haha. Of course, no one chose dare. Truth was, "Which guy/gal impressed you the most during the trek?". William was ultra hesitant to answer and it was really crappy. They had to change the question to "Have you ever had a girlfriend/ Do you have a girlfriend?". SO LAME... I can't tell you guys the answers to those though. They said, "what is said in the tent dies in the tent and what is said in malaysia dies in malaysia", in terms of the game of "Truth or Dare". :)

Anyway, we went out to stand around for awhile then they guys went off to the trucks while we gals went back into the tent after telling them that we wanted to stay out and talk the night away. (haha.. oops!) So we went to sleep at around 11pm. The 5 of us gals in the tent. I think the guys came back and were like, "diao... they're sleeping already?!!! I thought they wanted to talk?!" -haha, I say again, OOPS!-

Sunday, 15th October, 2006.

I think I slept like a stone. Loisa said I was all stiff and heavy when sleeping. But it was a good night's sleep. I was the first to wake! I think, I heard people walking around, then I heard 2 really loud *bangs*, like they shot a gun in the air or something. Definitely got a fright then. Then someone came to our tent to wake us up. I was the only one awake so that fella just went off seeing that I had already sat up. So i shook Loisa and then asked her to wake the others. I shook Krystel and woke her up but then everyone went back to sleep after waking up! I was like.. ". . ."

what the...

So I kept making lots of noises. HAHA

And finally sat up to pack my stuff. We had to go already. I think I made quite a din! So they woke up... HAHA... Yeah!

We quickly packed up, peed again and... hey, went off and loaded our stuff in the back of one of those 4wds. A bit shuffling here and there, the guys un-pitched the tents, kept it, and we headed off. Actually, we girls were supposed to get back to the white lorry and sit outside. BUT NO WAY!!! To have branches slapping us in complete darkness? We do worry. That's a no-no. So they guys surrended their seats and we girls squeezed into one of the 4WDs. Ours was the first car to drive off. It was ultra-squeezy and super bumpy the whole 2hrs ride back to civilisation...

I think Loisa had it the worst. She had to sit on the floor cos she kept falling off her seat. We were so worried she'd puke. But we didn't even had breakfast or anything. I mean... but I think she had a hard time. :( really. Sorry I couldn't do anything to help. My "feng you" and sour plum was in my backpack which was in another vehicle.

I think the driver was really fast lah. I didn't check my watch but he made it back real quickly. Then... we had a hot drink each at the Sungei Lembing coffeeshop. It was... WHOA, good! I think we waited more than 30 minutes before all the other cars arrived. I don't know what was the situation but I heard something cocked up somewhere...

So we had a nice drink before collecting our bags and putting them in a clan building. Then we head off for BUKIT PANAROMA. Yes. The 2nd part of our trek.

finally? I still have lots to tell. Well, it was around 6.20am when we started to ascend Bukit Panaroma (Panaroma Hill). It was 800m worth of steep stairs and steep slopes. I wore my track shoes this time, DUH. No booties here! hehe. Okay, not funny. So, we started the climb after taking a few pictures with the group.

The leader of the trip was a pretty impatient and asked us to hurry. He said, there's only one right way up and one right way down. And I think he didn't want to miss the sunrise anyway, no assumptions. We stretched our muscles 'cos we didn't want to have cramps. I mean, 800m up steep! So, we started. I couldn't catch my breath after awhile, so I just stood at one side and let the people pass. I waited till almost everyone passed. Rex offered to help carry my waistpouch so I just "threw" it to him. HAH! THANKS. Okay, so this senior, a lady, helped me along the way. She was VERY NICE and super ENCOURAGING. She later on carried my bag, let me drink her tiny bottle of water, use her bandana to wipe my sweat and taught me how to breathe and all.

Krystel lost her camera and had to climb the hill 1.5 times okay! *honoured*
But I think it was really sad for her... But everyone searched and combed the area to no avail. sigh. All the pictures... :(

Anyway, it was awfully awful! The ascend. You know, I had wanted so much to just stop and take a break for awhile but the senior told me I can't stop and she just kept urging me to move on ahead... because if I stopped, I would lose my tempo and it'd be hard to regain it, making it even more tiring. WHAT A TORTURE! I was utterly exhausted when I saw so many steps ahead of me. But she kept telling me not to look ahead at how many steps there are ahead but to focus on the step that was in front of me, and to take one step at a time. WHA. She's real good. Okay, so I finally reached and saw the others there though Krystel was still not there yet. The scenery was good and the air was fresh. We took a few pictures here and there anyway.

Wow. What an accomplishment.

Although we sort of missed the sunrise, it's okay... along the way up, that senior kept talking about the famous wanton mee and about pooing... argh! Hey!

I wanted to poo and then eat my lunch later... stop repeating and make it such a difficult ordeal for me! Haha... okay.. whatever..

Going down was hard on the knees. But it was WAY better than going up. It was the slopes that were difficult. They're pretty steep anyway. So there was always the high probability of slipping and falling. Yeah... There was...

Oh this time, Rex offered to carry my waistpouch for me again. Haha. I graciously refused his offer. Now that I think of it, I should have let him carry it for me! Haha, nah.. I'm not so bad. Gee, I mean, going down wasn't as bad, it's just the knees that really hurt. Oh well.

I was dripping wet and stinky already. But I had lent my extra tee to Stephanie so I couldn't change when I got back to the clan. Anyway, after going to the toilet, cooling down, washing my face and drinking lots of water, the group of us went to the market to have our lunch. I had some curry mee 'cos the famous wanton mee was SOLD OUT! grrr~ Nevermind... then we walked around the market... which was selling lots of stuff, and then the guys bought some pop-pop which were actually ummm, some wrapped up stuff which bursts and gives out a really loud sound when thrown onto the ground. Then we walked one whole round around the place and... yeah, that's about it. After we went back to the clan building, we brushed our teeth and washed up, then sprayed on some of my body spray. Later, I changed out of my track shoes and wore my comfortable pair of slippers.

We got down to playing UNO! Then a bit of "heart attack", and we had to set off to Larkin... a six hours ride perfect for sleeping! -comfort!-

Okay, as much as I really wish to finish up this post, I really need to go! HAHA... So there's part 4 anyway. This has been a really long post... Not much left to go lar, but...

[TO BE CONTINUED!]

-stay tuned for the drama. Yes, more drama coming up.-

Rainbow Falls - Part deux TWO

(still Saturday, 14th October)
Okay! I'm here to continue the story...
I'm afraid I might forget whatever happened, so I must be quick and finish this entry! :D

So, we were walking towards rainbow falls. And I just got bitten by two leeches. I think Eileen was a bit freaked out walking behind me. *haha* I think it's the blood. Oh well, then... I was so busy glancing down at the rocky path that hurt my sole that I did not even glanced around my surroundings to admire the beauty of mother nature. I don't think it's going to be so beautiful once it gets established as a tourist attraction. I heard it is going to be soon. :(

Imagine the rubbish shrewn all over the place...

I hope not.

At that time, I looked straight ahead. I could see a whole path of huge boulders and at the end of it, an amazing sight. It was a really high waterfall! Wow, *Shocking*. We haven't gotten up there yet, but whoa. What a sight to behold! Although it wasn't sunny enough and there weren't any rainbows on the waterfall, well... at least there's something. *sighs but never mind*...

FG asked me whether I regretted coming on this trek. I was having a pretty hard time, and I don't want to say no. So I truthfully said, "I don't know". Now that I think about it, "No." I have NO regrets. It was cool.

The boulders were REALLY SLIPPERY and wow, I had a hard time. I had to get pulled up almost every boulder lah~ At this time, we started to snap photos and all that. I've got one here! Look at our exhausted faces! hehe

So we continued... ONWARD! Until, wow. The foot of Rainbow Falls itself. The breeze was really strong, water was splashing everywhere and it was gasping cold. The water was pretty clear and there were prawns in the water! WOOW. So when we reached, Eileen and I took a few pictures then she stayed at the dry area while I went splashing down into the water. *LOVE* It was just ... nice and refreshing especially after a trek, to just get wet in freshwater. Loisa, Steph and Krystel were already in the water so I went in and I had to swim through a pretty deep part. I was a little scared I might step on something or knock into rocks while swimming. So Loisa came and we swam together into the pool, nearing the base of the waterfall where the water collapsed onto the rocks.

I knocked onto a huge piece of rock and I was like, phew it was a slight knock. I went to join the rest of my group and leaned against the rock wall that is the back of the waterfall. Anyway, I took a look at my leech wound, 'cos I haven't seen what it's like. I think I saw a leech but I was eek! I freaked out so I just ignored it. 'Cos it LOOKED DISGUSTING okay! I think it really was another leech. (later, we confirmed it)

I just reached and was admiring everything around but it was pretty cold there and the my groupmates have been there for quite a long time already, so they said they were going to go back to the dry bank... But then I said, "But I just got here!". *haha* So they said stay there for another 15 minutes. *grins!*

I saw another leech... TRYING to attach itself onto my thigh. Luckily I swept it away before it attached. So is that considered a fourth leech? Anyway, back to the waterfall...

It was nice, we took some pictures with some of their underwater waterproof cameras. I wonder when we can get the pics! We don't even know those people, but the pictures I think, were pretty nice! haha... So they were *brrr* shivering cold but I was still "cold but not up shivering cold". LOL. Then after some whiling and admiring, we went back to dryland to squeeze our t-shirts. HAHA. I had a hard time following up. I mean, a few of them were walking the rocky paths way, which was uneven and difficult. But I wanted to just swim across. Problem was, no one was swimming across with me! I'll be odd lah. It's scary 'cos I couldn't see the base of the pool.

Then we went to chill and have a little bit of food. I had no appetite lah! I just wanted to sleep. *haha* But we did take a few photos with my weather-proof camera! It was nice... see! Oh! I lost my hairband and rubberband in the pool! Crappy! :(

That's at the Falls. Before I went into the water, and then after coming out. Check out the ugly hair with the hairband! LOL-

I snapped this! Look at the grandeur of the fall! If only there was a rainbow. *sighs*

The Base...

So we ate a few biscuits here and there and after awhile, took a whole group photo. Group 2 was the one to start off first again... oh man. This time, Loisa took the yellow daypack with my track shoes tied to it while I slinged my waistpouch across my back. It kept sliding to the front as I was climbing along the boulders lah! And as we walked past everyone to start the descend, our legs were all wobbly and shivering. I heard someone commenting in mandarin, saying our legs were all wobbly and unstable already. I agree! It was a little embarassing! I struggled a little over the first boulder. Luckily, I had someone to pull me up and teach me how to go down. On the way up, I was taught many things, so I learnt a lot about what to grab onto, what not to grab onto, where to step on and where not to step on. It was good! Hmmms... then... OH! My trekking partner volunteered to carry my waistpouch for me, then turned to Loisa, who was behind me, and offered to carry her yellow kiddy daypack. [Now that I think about it, I think I looked damn suku when I carried her daypack lar!] HAHA, we both said, YES! *yay! - phew! - THAT was NICE*

I think he manages really well, so he can carry so many stuff. Haha... Though I saw him slipped a few times. I think everyone did lah. It was so SLIPPERY. Oh well... Hmm, so Loisa told me she will trek behind me. But then off she went after awhile, far far ahead! I was darn slow lah... Krystel also went far far ahead. But they went to the alternative route! Instead of going into the jungle, which was much easier than the riverbed, 'cos there wasn't any stones, they went to walk along the rocky paths! -crazy!!- I was perspiring a whole lot, dripping dripping wet all the way down. I kept wondering why everyone was so dry, I was really super wet! And I kept dripping sweat. I lost my stick when going up so I had to get a new one. Luckily Steph, who was behind me, found two! One for her and one for me. LOL. It was such a great help, the stick. It was like another leg to help support. Going down the boulders was practically squatting down and manouvering with all fours... Really. I was so afraid of falling down 'cos the only thing I could fall on was rocks and more rocks. Imagine, OUCH. After the trip, I realised I didn't get any bruises at all, while so many girls got bruises all over their legs. Haha, probably because I walked really slowly... and carefully...

I tripped over branches, slipped down boulders, fell a lot, grabbed onto a weak plant and almost fell down a slope if not for someone behind grabbing me and I think I looked like some weak bumbling clumsy person! *embarrassed*

Anyway, soon almost everyone overtook and as we were reaching, or so I thought, I found that there were more of these similar river paths... It was neverending I tell you! NEVERENDING! - for a moment - quite a long moment, that is. Rex told me my stick was too short. - . . . - and I had just ignorantly refused an offer to receive a longer stick just a few moments ago. CRAP! *grrrr* So, I took a break and drank some water...

Then not long after, we reached the river! The one where we started the trek! I was so so longing for a dip in the cooling water of the river! As I walked across the guy who overtook us when I drank water, he called me to turn around and he looked at the back of my knee, the place where I got bitten twice by the leeches. I think he took a branch and swept it across my wound, then wiped the icky stuff on the ground.

...

confirmation... of another leech. ICKY! I think I accidentally squished it. So it's dead. haha~ Then he put some alcohol on my wound. And his partner, the girl, said that he actually noticed it quite long ago already... just that he didn't said it out. I won't be freaked out lah. Not anymore... :D

So, I stumbled with shivering legs along the rocky path towards the gals with two bags in hands. Haha, I think I made a fool out of myself. I must've looked really pathetic. Haha... So I threw the stuff to Loisa! No lah... I asked her to help me carry my waistpouch while I carried her daypack. That's because we were going to cross a waist-deep river with a strong current. I told her, "PLEASE DON'T FALL" - cos my valuables and everything are all inside! But luckily I ziplocked my stuff. 'cos you know what happened? She sneezed and then she FELL. It was.. uhhh.. funny. *BAHHHhaha* oops

So she got wet. I was itching to just submerge myself in the water lah! But... I was carrying the daypack.. and was too tired to do any extra stuff and so I just walked and walked across the river. I saw a leech! In the water! EEK!! But it was far away. Haha... anyway, we walked all the way back to the campsite and I immediately changed to slippers! FINALLY! I just sat down and slept a bit. I was SO SO sleepy. From then onwards, it was just free time until the 3am in the morning. But anyway, still got a lot of stories... So we wanted to sleep... badly, but we were all muddy and dirty. I just sat on my huge ziploc bag and almost dozed off, while the guys were pitching another tent. HAHA... then they had to shift the tent that they first pitched to the side of the road 'cos it was not sensible to pitch a tent in the middle of the road, with the seniors citing "spiritual reasons". So... they took out all our belongings, shifted the tent, and then put the guys bag in the pink tent which they just pitched and the gals' belongings into the bigger, blue tent. HAHA... gals in blue tent while guys in pink tent. So funny.

They cooked a bit of maggi mee, with egg and all that... and I think we were the only group with an icebox. I think we had the best food. But it was I think, only 2 or 3pm, it was really early... so it was considered lunch lah. It was not bad. After that, we took a bit of Krystel's chicken biscuits, which was quite nice! I gulped down LOTS and LOTS of water. So thirsty!
After that, we just felt like sleeping. But Louis told us to go bathe first, 'cos it's supposedly not so healthy to sleep when we are so dirty and all that or something like that... ok ok.. so we gals went marching down to the river quite soon after seeing all the guys collecting piles of dry wood to build a campfire. The river water was absolutely... COLD! And we there were people bathing there already. Of course, we went in fully-clothed with our soap bottles and all that. All of them had a whole bunch of toiletries but all I took in my hand was a bottle of fruity kiddy top-to-toe wash. It was really for convenience sake. Haha... It was really cool, the experience of bathing in the river. How ancient is that man?! I was thinking of all those "gu dai" shows I watched on tv... where people go to the river to bathe. Oh, but then people in poorer countries still do bathe in the rivers. The water was really fresh and ok, as I said, shivering cold. We all didn't dare to dip ourselves in at first, then those people who were already in there started splashing at us... BRRR! We just stood down there and closed our eyes while hugging ourselves. Haha.. Then we went towards the rocky blocks where we bunch sat and started washing up.

We really spent LOTS of time in the river, 'cos it was so refreshingly nice and wah... the water eventually got okay to sit in. We were like, ONE TWO THREE, go in!!! Haha... then we chatted while soaping up... and it was funny cos when we wanted to wash off the shampoo, it was quite difficult. There was a current and also, when we lay back to wash our hair, our legs would come up and we'd loose our footing. It was so funny seeing everyone tumble.

I'm so sorry! I still have to put a [to be continued!] . . .
there're really LOTS to write about! ha. And wow, I'm not even done with Saturday.

Time for UGC homework! -gah-

Rainbow Falls - Part ONE

I'm BACK people!
and I survived...

Honestly, I've got LOTS to blog about. First experiences. Gee!
My whole body is ACHING! I guess, apart from using stairs everyday and climbing overhead bridges twice a day, 5 days a week and swimming once a week (I know that's not enough), I'm still really inconsistent with my "exercise". Actually, I need to get fit.

Trekking was fun. But excessively tiring especially when it was my first time. DUDE. Let me see... Oh! I was always the one who's lagging behind. Yes, unfit me. PANT PANT.

On Friday, I was rushing for EVERYTHING! First I woke up lazily at 11am then got down to my morning routine and brunch. After that, TIME TO *chiong* my assignments!!! Yep. I did 2 summaries and 1 three paragraph thingy.

English lesson was... grrr... zzz-ing boring. Nevermind. It was like, RUSH RUSH RUSH after that. Guess what I got for my mid-term for the english essay!!! 95/100! YAY! A!!! okay. *happy me*

So... here goes the outline. AND experience... and feelings... and whatever rants I wanna throw in!

Friday, 13th October 2006
I met Loisa at Jurong East mrt station! LATE late LATE.
I reached at say, 7pm. When we were supposed to be at Kranji by that time already! haha! wow. But English end at 5.30pm lah! I had to rush thru shower and dinner and wait for buses. Crappy. It's always the waiting time that's the problemo!

And so Krystel was very early while Stephanie and Eileen got lost on the way there. AIYOO~ So we hopped onto the SBS bus that brought us to the causeway. It was really jammed so we decided to walk to JB. It was my first time literally walking across from Singapore to JB.Yeah... I know a lot of people do that! The place was packed! Anyway, we passed thru' the Singapore customs and there was this funny officer who commented a lot about us! He called Loisa "boy boy", told me about where we were and when to show the form for malaysia custom. Then he commented that Krystel should change her passport photo and open up her "curtain" LOL! the HAIR. That fella must be damn bored sitting down there stamping away lah!

So after we crossed to the Malaysian customs, Loisa received a funny comment! The customs officer said, "Where's your Mummy?" or "You should be travelling with your mummy" or... something like that. I can't really remember. But. THAT was gah! LOL! It was crapp lah. I think she then referred him to the DOB at her passport. sheesh~

Next... I kinda forgot where we took a bus and where we walked... But we did walk... and then took a bus or something. I was really... *BLUR* - just followed lah. The air and noise was really BAD at the causeway. Eeeew. BAD BAD! plus the haze! GRRR!

They saw my Hello Kitty passport cover! And then.. make fun of it lah.. DUDE! I got it when I was still a primary school kid lah! It's just a cover... MAKE FUN of me... BLAH! Then the spare mickey mouse wallet I used.. was just.. spare lah! I never used it before this trip... GEEE! People thought I was some kinda Disney fan or something. Wah, like some kid lah... I feel... horrible at that comment. Totally shedding off my cool rocker image. (act! act only! haha.. so thick-skinned right?) Rex said I must be those kind of people whose plasters are all cartoon cartoon one. GAHH! *embarrassed* Totally NOT! grrr... So I rebutted with a draggy NO~ and lots of crappy comments. LOL. Oh! And I told them, yeah, my REAL wallet is also DISNEY one. NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS lah! It's scary-gothic-y whatever... So it's not CUTE-sy. I'm so not that kind. But I realised I WHINED a lot during the trip! EEK!

Anyway, the 6hrs bus ride was a little bad. It's all because we chose a WRONG SEAT! crap! Loisa and I had to endure a whole crappy journey squished behind two of our groupmates' reclined seats... For the whole time. Obviously, we were badly behind schedule. Well, we took a few photos here and there. Mary Brown etc...

MARY BROWN! The crappy fastfood place whereby the temperature in there was hotter then the temp outside! Haha, but we got our nice ice MILO there! ahhh... Then Loisa handed the cashier an EXPIRED RM1 coin! LOL-

Saturday, 14th October 2006

*test shot*

So that's Eileen and I at the coffeeshop. And I know our hairs're pretty messed up.

I think we reached the place on Saturday morning at around 6 plus~ It was ummm... dark. And we didn't rest well. But good thing was I wasn't as restless as the time I took a trip on a coach down to KL... It was super restless for me. But oh! Long coach rides... I've gone on far too many. I'm used to it.

A little brushing of teeth, the toilet and we're off to the jungle! We had 4-wheel-drives and lorries. We could choose to sit inside, or outside. So, we wanted the experience to sit OUTSIDE, behind the lorry (which was honestly, pretty dangerous as we realised). We had our pants dirtied by the planks on the lorry, had our arms scratched and faces slapped by the branches and twigs and all sorts of rubbish *lah*. It was gee, bad! But the breeze was good and the air was nice. Haiz, Eileen was stung on the head by some sort of flying bug with black and orange stripes. SCARY!

It was bumpy bumpy... (off off and away from civilisation!)

Then... we reached the flat grounds and the deep jungle after say, a 2 hrs ride clinging on for dear life! So we sat our bags down and ever since the break at Sungei Lembing, our bowel and pee systems just shut down. -.-

Yeah. The only way we could do our business was behind a bush or something. EEk! No privacy. We had to make sure the coast was clear! And we had to go together in a bunch, I think I only pee-d like twice there. It was just.. icky. All of us were a lil insecure.

OG 2!!!

Anyway, back to the stuff... The guys pitched the tents... YEP. They did. And I had a dilemma of whether to wear my track/ running shoes or to wear big bro's water sports booties. But in the end I tied my track shoes to loisa's daypack while I wore the booties. It was SO FUNNY! I was feeling so AWKWARD lah! Like some lil kid wearing funny booties. Although it's waterproof and all that, and enable me to feel the ground with my feet, OUCH! It's thin sole really made my feet hurt! So the trek was REALLY LONG... I didn't even notice the time... I just felt that it took really long. I was very slow, I know. My group was the first to set off, I think. And... they all gone off far away to the front while I walked really slowly at the back, trying to catch up. TO NO AVAIL! They were gone before my eyes. Well, everyone was assigned a partner to help us along the trek, and phew, lucky for me, I received lots of help from mine. It was so scary, my first trek... I could cry. The rocky terrain and the riverbed, everything was SO slippery. I didn't want to fall down 'cos it looked like I might just break a bone or cut myself deep if I fell on those rocks. EEW, the leeches were disgusting.

This experience I gotta tell you. I wasn't afraid of them, 'cos from the start I knew I would get 'em.

Eileen was right behind me for around the last 2/3rds of the trek. So she suddenly shouted, "IS THAT A LEECH?!" or something like that... and then I was like, "EWWW! I don't wanna look at it, get it off!" It was behind my knee. Yep, and it was FAT. So it was burnt, dead, fell to the ground, and then my leg was burnt with a cigarette. AW, crap! It hurts 'cos the cigg really scalded me!

I think I gained muscles during this trip. LOL. Haha... Oh, so the story continues...
We had 3 phases. Riverbed - rocky terrain, jungle path, huge and slippery boulders. I think the boulders were the most difficult. But the riverbed was also ridiculously tricky. Like, ouch. I think they said this was one of the easiest trek those experienced ones have been to.

I concur. 'Cos I can imagine them doing more difficult stuff. They looked like they could just breezed thru the whole thing without breaking a sweat (not literally, but you get it). LOL! I'm just slow lah... haha.

2nd leech! Eileen Some senior spotted it while we were conquering the boulders! Haha, this time, saltwater was the remedy! All the person did was pour saltwater over the leech - which coincedentally was at the same wound from the first leech - and it dropped down. I think she said it was bleeding and bleeding.. Yeah! The blood didn't clot. It just kept bleeding. For the whole trek I had blood all over the back of my leg.

So for the rest of the trip I was known as the gal who got bitten by 3 leeches at the same spot. SO crappy lah! LOL! I haven't talked about the 3rd leech!

Loisa said I was such a drama queen. HUH?

[the story continues...
I'm too tired to continue. I could write a book. I'm not even halfway thru.]

*I shall have a little cliffhanger before we continue to the summit of Rainbow Falls*

AHHHHHHHHHH!

You know what? I watched the official "Welcome to the Black Parade" video by My Chemical Romance TODAY! I like the song! Well, I've only heard it twice, first on VMAs and then the radio. Darn, it's good. Haha... Our lect. played it in class today.

We were talking about some semantics thingy and signal stuff. Then we moved on to decoding music videos. So, at first she played some Freddy and Jason song, kinda crappy. Haha. Then she played ummm.. OH! Rain's song.

Guess what!

She actually thought Rain was Japanese! Crap! Then uh... OH! LOTS of girls SCREAMED... (I wasn't included). At first, I was kinda bored... and I thought she ought to show Green Day's "Wake me up When September Ends"!

Then she showed us Welcome to the Black Parade.
Well, that time I read somewhere that some producer of Green Day's absolutely fantastic album, American Idiot, - I'm not sure if it's Rob Cavallo - was working on My Chemical Romance's "The Black Parade".

DUDE.

okay... hmm. OH! Funny thing is, when the lect started the video, Akira spun round and shouted, "Jia Zhen Jia Zhen My Chemical Romance!" - or so I thought - and I was like... *YEAH!!!* (you know I get excited when I see my fav. bands). Well, I didn't think much, I just "YEAHHH!"... I thought no one heard it... Then Loisa told me that, yah, he said "jiazhen jiazhen something"... Okay, PHEW. BUT she said, I squealed "YEAHHH!" loudly? She told me that the people from the other side of the lecture theatre looked at our direction. :$ paiseh~ luckily the lights were all switched off lah...

STOP LAUGHING! RAWR!

LOL.

-yeah.. so you're still laughing... tsk tsk.. Stop it! stop it! Okay, nevermind... go ahead...

So, HMMM...
I went to Clementi Central after school with Loisa. It was so funny on the bus when we acted like some "tai-tai" auntie whatever... LOL. We have so many drama-queens!

get flash and ENJOY!

The album's comin out 23rd Oct!!!

1:30 am

Let me tell you something.

I'm going for an adventure!!!

It's time. YAY, how cool is that?! I'm going to Malaysia this weekend, and roughing it out in the wild. This is SO cool. Oh wow.

Hmmm...

EXAMS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER!

I am glad. UGC today was... uh, crappy. I was saying we never used the total timings for the exams, but this exam made use of my full 2 hours. Amazing. Dr. Sachs, wow! What a question paper you have set for us. Wow.

I think my essay was alright... I was really konked out looking at those questions. Well, it's history! I was so urgent and had to use the toilet but I was worrying I hadn't got enough time to complete my paper. SO I just rushed to the toilet when I came out of the exam room. Haha... I was pretty speechless then. I was just... wow. =x

Well, now, I have to prepare for the kuantan, sungei lembing, mt. panaroma, rainbow falls trek. I felt so cheated when I went for the briefing... 'cos I didn't expect it to be so... wow. ROUGH. and RUGGED and.. I never experienced something so wild before lah. But, oh well. It'd be fun! I've got my pals around... :) *glad*

Tomorrow (actually today, but oh heck, you get it. It's night time!), we're going shopping in clementi! yay. And...

Hmmm... I went swimming in the haze just now lah! It was uber uncomfortable. But then... I think I'm alright now.

Preparation preparation....

gtg, BYE!

11:02 pm

Oh well well well...
and so I have decided.

We're going to RAINBOW FALLS, KUANTAN, MALAYSIA next Friday! YAY...
Trekking... I've never been trekking before! How? How? How?

Nevermind. WE'LL see.

Honestly, I really wish a thunderstorm will just come over the Indonesian forest fires. You know, the HAZE is killin! It's really bad. My room window is extremely dirty on the outside, 'cos I didn't want to open the window to let the smoky air in. Well, you know... It's really bad for us, 'cos for me, I'm starting to get really uncomfortable. *cough cough*

I got a picture taken from the overhead bridge near my house!
TAKE A LOOK at the *** haze!

The picture doesn't really show, but it's really bad. For now, it's SO MUCH BETTER to stay indoors. Trust me on this, people affected by the bloddy haze.

So I'm SO GLAD English Exam is over and done with. I have this really bad problem. Whenever there's an exam, I will start panicking!!! GAHHH.. Haha, but then it always turns out okay... I'm like, the average student with average scores. OK, I HOPE it REALLY TURNS out OKAY or BETTER this time.

YEP...

So! Today was REALLY LONG. ARGHH, I wanna play manicurist!!! Too bad I can't pain my brothers' nails. HAH! They'll *kat-cha* (karate slice neck motion) me. =.=

LALALA~ my next nail colour will be black. I'll get eyeliner and highlight dark (really dark) blue on my hair (you know the type... can see cannot see kind) and hey! funky~~~

HEY HEY...
So many things...

Let me see... CSE 111 yesterday was... crappy.
Okay, you see, I actually barely studied CSE (computer science) the night before. So I met Loisa at 9am, well, actually it was supposed to be 8.30am, but I was SO LAZY... so I was 1/2 and hour late. Yeah... I wanted to blog yesterday, but I didn't. Therefore, this might just become a really long entry!

heh heh...

hmm... OH! so we studied cse till around 10.30am... in our lecture theatre.. which was OPEN! our lesson at 11am was the first for the day though. So we just went in since there's air-con :)
And... then we walked to the library to pass the notes to the senior, got a cheesy sausage from Megabytes and scurried to our LT. haha, yummy.

Know what? It is a messy affair to spill tea in the LT! Know why?! The floor is carpetted lah.. and poor Cherie... her tee got TEA spilt on it! tsk tsk..

But Loisa's seat got wet... -.- So she moved down to sit with Cherie. :)
HAH... funny... So... halfway thru the lesson, Cherie asked me to switch on my bluetooth. Know what? She snapped me at my hardworking point!!! -MUGGING for cse! lol...

lookie here:

HAH! hmmm... what else? OH! after that, we rushed through lunch and were late for English lesson. :p
Dr. SACHS was so yay!!!
She let us off half and hour early. PHEW! So I went to meet Eileen, Loisa and Jonathan at the Student Lounge. MUG MUG MUG. And we thought since we had one whole hour, you know, we didn't thought too much about time! We didn't even notice till Alex came along and asked us what time's CSE exam. We said 3pm, and he said, "Isn't it 3pm?" ...

*JIA LAT!*

2.57pm!

*panic panic panic...*
I packed and was ready to go but the others were still laggy... Ahhh... But then nvm lah, they were worried. I'm like the gan cheong one lah... Oh lucky we made it on the dot.

THRASHED! I was thrashed for CSE. The 20 short qns are like those that you know means you know, you don't know means you don't know kinda questions! Cannot anyhow CRAP one -.-

So, well... it's over! I finished the paper in like 20 minutes! Then I took the time to flip here, flip there... check a bit here and there and scrammed in like, 10 minutes later. So, out of the allocated 1.5hrs slot, we took average around 30 mins to finish the paper! LOL, it's always like that. COM 101 and PSY 101 was also like that.

So Loisa and I crossed the overhead bridge, going home already... when my phone suddenly rang when I was going to board the bus! It was Stephanie and... she asked Loisa and I to go to megabytes to join them for dessert... So I was like, left or right? left or right? Left-> go home. Right-> Ask Loisa whether she wants to go back to school.

In the end, the bus went off and then we went back to school. By the time we reached Megs, we were completely perspiring like mad! LOL, so we climbed the overhead bridge thrice for that day. For me, its four times 'cos I had to climb another one when I reached my bus stop. *sweats*

Ok, so they were shocked we came back. WE CAME BACK! Just one call. One call brought us back to them. TOUCHED or NOT?!!!

Haha... joking...

But the ice-cream waffle was worth it!!!
Check it out! With Loisa posing...

I'm still contemplating whether to go for the Rainbow Falls, Kuantan trek... in MALAYSIA... -.- 70 bucks ahhh... it's next Friday lah!

oh... I think I'd better take a break for now...

It's time I do my research paper!

And... it's AKIRA's birthday today. They had a lil surprise thingy for him outside lt 4.14. HAHA, the tiramisu cake is NICE!

Hmmm... what else... I think... MAY be cont. BUSY BUSY BUSY!

COM 101 down.
PSY 101 down.

3 more papers to go!

What are these???

CSE 111 - tomorrow!!!
ESL 408 - ahhh!
UGC 111 - oh man....

Okay, umm... hey, today Loisa didn't bring her jacket. LOL, so I lent her my trademark IP Zone 'Protect the Environment' jacket. :) See? Such a fine soul.

LOL. I'm joking...

Wanna know what's my MSN nick?

"Hair like a mop"

HAHA... yes, I think it's time I got a haircut. HIGH TIME.

Anyway, about the jacket. My bright blue/green, turquoise jacket! It's super bright. YES. Jocelyn came into UGC class late and then she was wondering 'why the person sitting beside "Jia Zhen" - (actually Loisa wearing my jacket) looks like Jia Zhen?'.

HAHA, what a joke. I laughed. :)

Oh, and I had to tell you that. Yeah. I laughed. :) OUT LOUD.

Actually, I was faced with a really awkward dilemma. 'Cos Elizabeth asked me to help her pass her econs notes to this senior of ours... because she didn't get to see him today. And I had his number, so I offered to help by offering her his number! But, no...! She didn't want his number. So?

I help lah...
See how gracious a person I am? (background: pooi! pooi! -haha, I KNOW...)

*cough cough*

Well, so I help lah... They have an econs quiz tomorrow... And it was SO WEIRD. GAH.
So I have to hand it personally to him tomorrow. I was pretty troubled with lots of stuff, so when he called in response, 'cos I asked him when I can pass it to him, I was totally zonked - blur, blur, blur - He asked me whether I could do the questions! LOL, I told him, I didn't take econs!!!

-_-" diao... Ok ok... UHM...

Yah, so I'm gonna go to school at 8.30am tmr to chiong for computer science. YAY, how merry is that?

I'm tired.
