I really should get blogging. Been lagging behind. I'm pretty tired, but suddenly felt the urge to be typing something into my blog. That's right. Hmms. WHAT have I been up to these 2 weeks that is ... our holidays?! Well, as I've said, we've been celebrating bdays, and it was pretty cool and fun stuff. I'm the only one who's stil 17 now!!! December... oh... how funny. It's alright. I tend to be pretty slow at some stuff sometimes too. BUT NO! December is a fun month. I like December. -heart heart heart-

x-cross my fingers we'd be able to go for a vacation-x

LOL.

Maybe?

Alright, back to topic. Wow, shall recap my past week.
Monday was pretty boring. I think I stayed home all day and faced the computer. Right. That's bad. Although Tuesday we went out for lunch, that is... the usual people again, whom I've been spending quite some time with. They're really funny. HAHHA. Fun and cool =] Eileen, Loisa, Jielong. OH OH! You know we walked to Robertson Quay all the way from Clarke Quay to that restaurant and it wasn't even opened! Rubbish la... Aiyo. Then we walked back all the way to Central to have food court food... -dots- and Ice Kachang! Which was alright. :) Too bad no ramen. Then I had to rush back for swimming...

Wednesday! We met up for lunch, tea, dinner... LOL! Literally... eating all the way. Bak kut teh at Rangoon Rd, walked like 1 hour in the scorching afternoon sun to eat Tau Sar Pia at Balestier... famous? Yeah. Hmms - lousy Teh Ci Peng though, at $1.50 (expensive). But it was nice eating piping hot Tau Sar Pia - although I didn't quite favour the tau sar coz I thought it was a little too sweet? But it was alright. :)

Then we took a bus and walked to LITTLE INDIA! cool. Walked along the area, till we found Mustafa, and had to answer nature's call. We headed to Tekka Mall after, where LOISA (COUGHCOUGH HERE!) had her eyebrows threaded. Oh Eileen too! Pretty. I didn't do it. HAHA! Under no pressure. -phew- Was thinking I could go to my mum's facial auntie Helen to pluck. -wonders-

OOH OOH! Passed by the fabulously architechtured - got such word? - LaSelle School of the Arts. Right... it's nice la. What else... hmmms! Oh yeah! Sim Lim Square! Went to check out the price of the Ds Lite and stuff... plus bought a new earphone since my old one spoilt! Rubbish leh! But hey, found a quite alright deal!

DsLite $180 + R4 $50 (i tink, i hope?) + MemStick $20 = $250!!! Not bad leh.

oh well!

So after that we took a bus down to Chinatown Temp Market to have our dinner, which was Claypot Rice - which was pretty ruined by salted fish - and the Jia Ji Mei Shi food stuff cannot remember the name. Yam kueh actually very nice. But we didn't eat. Quite a lot of stuff. And I'm not exactly familiar anyway.

After that, went straight back home stinking! haha... managed to get a ride from Dad home, which was GOOD! Bwaha.

Anywayyyy... Thurs was Badminton... nothing special? Had Ah Balling, which reminds me of allolling and alluring and Kenneth. lol.

So Friday was pretty cool 'cept for the fact that I was truly late and feel quite guilty although being already quite pissed with having to deal with an assed up crowd and an hour's bus ride - which actually isn't anything compared to Eileen's travel from home to school in the morning - so that means I shouldn't be so fickle minded. Anyway the fireworks were spectacular from the Esplanade. Totally enjoyed it and some sparks even flew towards us - utterly jaw-dropping.
Then we made a trip down to Subway at Central after like 45 minutes standing on uneven grass patch and walking from the esplanade to Central... we really walk a lot!!!
Anyway, went home a little late again, but it was alright.

I like these two!

Saturday... was a whole day at home! Till the evening when we managed to get to the new office and check out the fireworks from 32D South Bridge Road! SOHCOOL. Wow. Recorded the view with the videocam! LOL! But I thought Friday's one was nicer. Maybe coz we stood nearer.

Sunday was family day, we went shopping after a whole day at home... Went out in the evening. :) Nothing to comment about actually. This monday was spent at home... playing the sims 2... yeah that's about it.. the internet... blablah. Computer again.

OOH. Talking about today - actually it was Tuesday... we were off to Jielong's house to bake cookies! Okay, it gets interesting. Eileen, Loisa and I were shopping for ingredients in Ntuc and we couldn't find the sugar, which was hidden in one corner. And the baking needs were in another aisle, we couldn't find the choco chips and nuts, coz it was at the ok... nvm I also dunno how to explain. After awhile, we got our stuff and prepared to SET OFF! For lunch, that is. Yeah lunch. Lunch was at the White Sands foodcourt. I had yummy "teppanyaki" chicken omelette fried rice. haha. pretty full at the end though.

Afterwards... it was.... oh! Met Jielong and lunch and we found how to play this word game which made us think! Went to take a bus down to his house and we started pouring everything according to recipes Eileen got from the net! Alright... bicarbonate of soda... WEIRD AND CLUMPY! But still we were noob enough to put something of which the expiry date we didn't check into the mixture - turned out to be expired since last year. And then we didn't have vanilla essence! Very smart. Got cheated by Jielong and all 4 of us walked in the rain with heavy umbrellas all the way to Elias something... Mall or something... to get a bottle of vanilla essence. Must why... we bought a drink - of which we haven't paid for - teh ci beng. not so nice though. RIGHT. And the walk back! -we continued with the mixture-

Until it was really weird coz we added milk for the cookie mixture! And then we baked it. - unusually soft. Waited for hardening. Soft. Still like pancake. Pancake? WEIRD! In the end we found out we mixed up the recipes and came up with our own. Secret Recipe? HAHHAHA. So we though we should make cupcakes. -success!!!- choc chips, almond, yadayada. LOVELY!Baking soda was horrible. Jielong and I were too suay. Had a huge clunk in our pieces.

OOH OOH! So we continued our recipe tweaking and stuff. And it was too cool! The end effect was absolutely YUMMY! *success*

So happy!

WE played a game of Jenga, and played with the hamsters which were super smelly but soooo cute. Wished to be able to clean up everything, the cage, and sand the hamsters.. hahaha. But oh well! Someone must be doing all that work. Better not talk so much cock. Play play play. Smelly gotta tahan. bwahah. And the white one pooped and pooped and pooped so many times while we played with it! So afraid!! Ekk. Although it's just herbivore food. Veggies and stuff hamster mix. LOL.

so cute so cute so cute :)

Then we played Taboo - FUN but I kinda sucked. :p lol...
In then end Eileen and I lost to them. AHAH! ok la ok la... whatever. -sticks tongue out-
(shall be nice) :p

HAHAH.

What arh... food food! Amazing. Very funny. I had dinner at home, but since we waited for the cupcakes, we decided to plant our butts on the dining area. So jl's mum brought out food for us. WHOA. Like, it was fab fab fab. ~mutton mutton~ hahaha. and stuff. Super lah! Indonesian cuisine.

lol.

hmmmmmmmms... erhm. erhm.
oh until super late! 9pm? Then we decided to play with hamster again while to cupcakes with choc was freezing - becoming scones. Then we tried it with ice cream and it was totally. -mamma mamma mia- baby! WE SHOULD TOTALLY SELL IT. entrepreneurship -LOL!

Taste like shiok man.

Hahha. So very full right? Need to walk to Pasir Ris mrt from Elias. Wah. quite far you know? And about 1/3rd of the way I saw some long grass at the side of the pavement, which reminded me of Eileen's Alfafa! And guess what?! We forgot about it! So we walked ALLLLL the way back to Elias whatever... and got the Alfafa while resting at the park bench near jl's house. I can't believe I'm typing so much. Fingers are kinda like... lol. -suan-

-HOME SWEET HOME- SHALL NOT BORE U FURTHER with my recap. lol.

I realised I have a pretty quirky thing in me. Everytime I sit down at any dining table to talk I'll get sleepy, and start yawning, and phase out. hahaha...

So anyway! I was at the fireworks display during NDP! Wasn't in the arena but was in 3rd Aunt's booked hotel room at the Swissotel the Stamford. IT WAS SO NICE! As in, the view from up there, the 63rd story.

Before that, we were going in circles trying to find a parking lot to stop so that we could get there in time to view the fireworks. Mum, Lil bro and I were lucky, we managed to get to the hotel balcony just in time to wait around 4 minutes for the fireworks to start. It wasn't all spectacular, but pretty worthwhile. Nice breeze, fantastic view... What more can we ask for? Too bad Dad has to find a parking lot. I bet he was kinda frantic and all, and he couldn't get a parking space. So he kinda only viewed the fireworks from his car... somewhere. OH well...!

I took a few pictures, but they're all really... not so nice. SO! Maybe I won't post them here... YET.

Guess what, we actually waited around 15-20 minutes for the lift! Every level had some people waiting, and it was really... whoa. When we finally got into the lift, we were packed so close it was hard to breathe. From the 63rd story to the 38th, there was hardly a level we didn't stop at! 62, 61, 60, 59 ---- +++ we had to stop at almost every level to distraught faces in the lift lobby! It was pretty bad. Finally we were able to get to the first floor safely, and yep! Went to Maxwell to have good FOOD!!! lol...

Actually I found a few good places for some kinds of food...

1) Me Sua Gou -- Maxwell Hawker Centre
2) Ah Mee (Duck noodles) -- Tanglin Halt
3) Prawn Mee -- Lavender Food (Hawker?) Centre

ABC has a lot of good food too... like Rong Guang BBQ.
hmm... Clementi has great Rojak.

- Dim Sum at Chinatown somewhere!!!
- Chinese Deserts at People's Park

Normal icey Deserts at Clementi, few places - one good one's at Central.
hmms... I hope I can get more info from my father. OR try to rmbr the place.

Tian Zi Zhou - frog leg porridge - Geylang (somewhere)
Thai food (Diandin Leluk - TukTuk) - Geyland (somewhere)
Teochew Muay & Kaya - Geylong somewhere again!

Bak Kut Teh - clear soup one... need to ask parents.

Dao Hui Zui (Soya Bean -issit?? Drink) & Chwee Kueh - Redhill central area (I think)

HMMM... shall update. OH!
Jing Zi Mi Fen (Budget Bee Hoon) - Around Tanglin Halt Area

Shall populate this list soon... There're lots of nice food around Singapore's Hawker Centres. Love local food -- that explains the size. Muahaha.

Sa Pou Fan (Claypot Rice) - Chinatown Square Temp Market -- THE BEST!!!
Roti Prata - near Thomson Area at Seletar Reservoir there I think!

Bedok has great food! Some place I don't even know the name of. They have the best Ba Chor Mee!!! lol...

OH BY THE WAY!
Happy Birthday Sandra!!! :p
Happy Birthday Eileen and Loisa! -rock on!-

Jurong, Clementi, Bukit Merah area... hmms. Chinatown... Geylang. -- Has nice food!!!

WHOA, it's 2.17am and the 1st of August already. whew. that's pretty fast. I'm a little shocked. So, I just finished watching V for Vendetta on DVD. It was so cool... intense.... DENSE. lol... V's the hero! He's so cool with his knives, albeit rather like a loony... har har...

Oh whatever, I watched like 3 movies throughout Saturday - Tues... Hmms. The History Boys, Constantine, and V... Nice watching the films! Eileen, Loisa and I shared to rent 6 DVDs! LOL, can't believe I watched 2 Vertigo comic bk to movie adaptations... anyways... nothing much, got a membership, and shall watch dvds for enjoyment. :D

They're all region 3 though. And that's like SIGH, coz we can't play it on our computers unless we change the codes... which I do not want to do...

lalallaa... Been falling behind on updates. Both 'em came over my humble abode already hahaha... Yeah... food... Seeing my big bro's -good- friend... haha -cheeky laugh- and his bday. LOL. It was nice...

Right.

So... I knocked my forehead whilst swimming backstroke in the pool just now. Looked back, and I smashed right into the wall. Like, OUCH. That hurt. Totally got a shock. Luckily no one saw anything. The newbies were SO boastful. Like, whatever.... who cares that much about competition anyway? I beat you. slow-poke. lOl.. x - i must not be bad - x

tsk tsk... that's all for now. BWAH.
