a long unwinding weekend + 2 days of the week.

geee.

spent a lot of money.

made good cheesecake.

hung out with my two great friends.

stencilled through the night

slept at 5am

bought silkscreen paint and stencil brushes

pretend to rehearse for a play in the park

sat on a swing on a sunny sunday afternoon

got stuck trying to get out of the little whale kiddy ride

saw a bat hanging from a pavillion on a lazy sunday afternoon

walked SIX kilometres and scared a dog

knocked a head whilst playing with another dog

bought stardust dvd (original mind you) for $12.50

watched the other boelyn girl

and bought a pair of navy stockings... for $8

a woman said my eyebrows look like a guys' and (she is a little crazy) said we bargained for FUN (I find her absolutely flabbergastingly funny, I don't know why. She amuses me. Maybe it's her dressing)

tried ms. clarity cafe and arnolds!

ate dessert at people's park centre.

got my jack johnson "sleep through the static" cd from gramaphone.

had a haircut at kimage when we walked by the funan hair academy

it cost $9 and was a lot of "FIRSTS" for me

we had a lot to talk about a simple, slow, long, $9 haircut

the hairdresser was ang-moh. she had a funny accent

I customized my fringe. I never talked so much about my hairstyle to a hairdresser.

they always do their own thing on my hair.

that was my first time cutting my hair with friends

it was so funny

took a whole lot of photos

run out of cash in my wallet

and I say, the week's still young.

YES! The final exams for this sem is finally over! That marks the end of TWO YEARS of university education for me. One more year to go... wow. That's like, so fast! It scares me a little. But don't worry! Anyway, we went to Serene Centre today, and I realised I went to the Macs there before, during secondary school times.

So, Jane was REALLY NICE! She brought us to Island Creamery for ICE CREAM! SO NICE! We were crazy greedy. Haha. Thanks JANE!!! I tried Mango, Teh Tarik, and ReverSo!! -yum yum yum- The apple pie was great too! Then, we went to the kiddy section and took crayons and paper to draw a little birthday card for Jane to paste onto the wall!

SEE our CREATION:

Hung around and played with the guitar a bit...

So then... we went to the restaurant next door! The food was pretty good, and it was not extremely expensive. I felt totally bloated after it, haha, that's because we had quite a lot of food eh. Shared the EMU Rice and Salmon set with Loisa, and there were like, WHOA a lot of stuff (lah).

EH. Check out this "bowl". It IS a bowl, which looks really interesting. Go figure!

*NICE FOOD*

Afterwards, we chatted for quite long, and the lady boss was getting like, extremely impatient and kept looking over at our table. (WTH) Then at last she couldn't take it anymore and gave a freaking lousy excuse to chase us away. Rubbish! Right, we can sense it in your speech alright. So THANKS Jane for shooting her back! HAHA. I sensed it too! (LOL)

-sigh- the only reason I put this sigh is really because our media effects lecturer is really crazy. So racism, cultural imperialism and all that ethnocentrism is totally justified. Stupid angmoh. What the freak is wrong with him to malign a friend for plagiarism? And she put in so much work for it! Really peeved. He is absolutely LAZY, and LOUSY, stubborn, and FULL OF CRAP!

*rolls eyes*

Wheee~

The whole of last Saturday was spent at Terminal THREE @ Changi with Loisa and Eileen. Haha. It was so tiring and so frustrating that they hardly have any sockets for us to use in the cafes. Mcdonalds had already have their sockets taken up, especially the one at ... was it Terminal 2? Yeah. I think so. The spider web of extension wires was such a mess. Honestly, it was kinda weird. Haha. Amusing? More like bad for the eyes.

Anyway, I took a few pictures of T3:

NICE? The place looks so spacious, and it was kind of "ulu" and empty during the afternoon. Only when it came to about 9+ when we went back there to have our dinner did it look somewhat "more packed". Haha. Anywaysies, I didn't bring my digicam - oh bother! So the pictures were taken with my handphone camera.

The hunt for sockets took us all the way from T3 to T2 to T1. JUST because of the stupid socket at Popeyes where we ate didn't have any power. That honestly sucked! Come on man! Geee! No power? So we used our laptops for about 1+ hr till our battery died. Yes, mine has it's own stupid problems. It can either be 1 and a half hours or 2hrs45mins on a full charge. Depends on... I don't really know. It's mood? -gawd-

At last, we settled down at Terminal 1's viewing gallery. It's a nice place to chill actually, and they had sockets and clean floors, and a view of aeroplanes. Haha. We sort of "seen" or "experience" the sunset there. That's 'cos we stayed from around 6,7+ till around 10pm? Yeap. It was around there. I haven't got the photos anyway, didn't bother to take. Haha.

OH! OH! We kept taking the skytrain, and then there was this once we took the trolley, put all our bagpacks on it and pushed it all the way to the departure hall. LOL! It was so funny. Our backpacks!!! Not luggage!

________ .
UGHHH! HOWEVER, today (MONDAY) was really bad. The COM 242 presentations dragged so much it went till around 12.45pm when our MGM presentation was 1pm! WHAT? So we rushed to the class to prepare for our marketing presentation for Holbert and it was like, geez, so rush. We were so hungry I developed gastric pains after class. It was honestly, absolutely absolutely horrid. Now, my bag will include two things for emergencies:
1. Biscuits
2. Plastic bag.

One for when I get hungry and the other if I feel nauseous and wanna puke. Luckily Eileen had a plastic bag that came in handy. :< EW! I was so disgusting. Urgh. Okay, okay... so the sliced fish soup with rice was really wasted (there were a lot of slices lor! and tasted not bad)... sigh. But my GIT felt really bad the whole day since I woke up in the morning. Slept the moment I stepped into the house. I just plonked myself on the sofa and slept till like 8+pm. Really undisturbed sleep. Haha. It's pretty late!!! I'd better get to bed. NTR class tomorrow at 4.45pm! =_=" weird timing but whoot, can wake up later. Hehe. Great thing!

And I thought I won't be using my VideoEzy card much...

I've just watched Eastern Promises, Finding Neverland, Big Fish, Pan's Labyrinth (El Laberinto Del Fauno), and I might just watch My Fair Lady if I've got the time.

Eastern Promises has Naomi Watts! Well, the point is I don't know how we keep renting DVDs with links to each other.
> Naomi Watts: 21 Grams, I (heart) Huckabees, Eastern Promises.
> Dustin Hoffman: I (heart) Huckabees, Finding Neverland

Anyway, I finally watched two movies I've always REALLY wanted to watch - Big Fish and Finding Neverland. Pan's Labyrinth also, but not as much. Thank goodness Clementi's Videoezy is so freaking fantastic. So many movies on the shelf. AHHH ~bliss~

The thing about Finding Neverland is, Johnny Depp and the Scottish accent. It totally reminded me to think about the interviews I've seen of the band, Franz Ferdinand. And the accent was like.. WHOA. There. J.M. Barrie. What a genius. Weird link. I know. Honestly, watching this movie made me want to quickly grab 2003's Peter Pan movie or the Disney cartoon version and start watching it. :D

So Pan's Labyrinth was like worth the 1hr50mins of my time. Yea, it was so WOW. Fairytales. That's a real creepy one. But it's still the humans that are scary, like the idiotic sadistic a**hole captain guy.

Ahhh Johnny Depp... talking about him, well, Eileen handed me my belated 18th Bday present. It's so cute la. A children's storybook with a read along cd that plays for 20+ minutes and
includes the characters' voices. Made me feel like a kid all over again. Ahh, NOSTALGIA.
Especially with the screening of children-related stuff in media effects class. Haha...

AND IT HAS PICTURES OF ORLANDO BLOOM AND ARGHHHH!! JOHNNY DEPP! ok, I know lah, it's kind of like a little fan-girl thing. It's so crappy! UGH. (psst! I collect Singapore magazines with Johnny Depp on the cover. heh hehe. I think I got four already. HEH) Was so scared of making noise in MGM class but Jocelyn totally brought out the fan girl in me. She's so good at influencing people, and Junichi Okada looks so -oooh lah lah-. I can't help but go *fan-girl* crazy in front of her. Gee. Coz' she's like the expert. Haha.*_* <- 发花吃!(are these the right Chinese words?)

The COM 242 research paper DRAFT is finally done. Mass comm effects is really ... what to say? BIG. Right. Anyways, there's this movie, Skinny and Fatty, which is pretty old, and in black and white and all, but Prof. Armstrong showed it in class ... and it was kinda cute and all even though the kid actors are like way older than me now.

OH OH! I played bowling and pool at this Safra Club that we went to quite a lot when we were younger when we have some family gathering or events. I'm not sure if it's Changi or East Coast, but it's somewhere in the East. Anyway, it's so cool to go back there and see how things have changed (or not). :D Chantel's Birthday anyway. She's TWO years old already. That's pretty quick. Wow.

-I actually typed something that I didn't wanna publish. Perhaps another time- :x lol.

Horton Hears a Who!
LOL. I haven't watched it but it got like 7.7/10 on IMDB. That's like o.O. Do you remember The Grinch? I didn't even liked that! Alright, this is different.

OOH! Charlie Bartlett is a 7.5/10!
Hmms. Dreaming. This week will be really packed. I just wrote out my schedule during COM 125 Class. And now I just had to add 2 more things to from COM 300. But the great thing's WHOA the holidays seem like just around the corner. That is honestly creepily fast.

Everyday I come home and I just sleep like a lazy pig on the sofa. Can't resist! I spent 2 hours sleeping! Alarms don't work. Set it at 5pm and woke at 6pm. In awhile, I'm gonna have to go swimming. Geez. Ciao for now!
