I slept at 2am last night!
Woke at 8.30am to visit Big Bro.'s army camp at Pasir Laba. Ummm, the SISPEC place. It looks pretty new, and we took some photos. I'm not posting all, just the nice ones. HAHA. And I took all the photos except one, where I'm in it. HEEE. :D

Looks quite GOOD! I was using my phone's camera! WHOA. Not bad. :D

And... we sat on his bed, checked out his room, the obstacle course, the weapons and the... complex. YEAH. And we got standard goodie bags - bottle of mineral water, peanut biscuits, want want crackers, a pack of tissue paper - from the army personnels. They were pretty friendly to my parents. :)
OH! and seemed respectful... yadayada...

Hmm... Oh, so I came home, fell asleep on the sofa while watching Mythbuster (SHOOT! will anyone tell me the outcome of their revisit of the splitting arrows and the canon thing?!!!)

So...
You know what?! I found out something REALLY coincedental yesterday. I was going to school, so I took 154. I took out my ezlink card, and tapped. (di-di-di-di-di) -error!!! No credit. So, I stood there and dug out 90cents. GRRR... extra 5cents. Haha, oh well. So this time the bus uncle was okay, and he was smiley-faced. PHEW, not like the usual groany ones. The thing is!!! After class, I went home on 154 too... As I boarded and paid a dollar ('cos I didn't have "loose"{"shan qian"-mandarin} coins), I realised... AYE! WHY this driver SO familiar?! So I collected my ticket, and went to the upper deck. I compared the bus ticket of the earlier one I took to school and the one that I had in my other hand. HEY! Same bus number! Checking the license plate that was shown at the front of the upper deck, HEY! Same number!

Like, what a coincedence lah. LOL...

Never had I had this experience before, like, same drivers IN A DAY. Different days, same driver, OKAY lah.. Have before. I also took the crappy driver whose bus I complained of that time AGAIN a few weeks/days after the stupid rude incident. Oh well, I'm going to BIG UNCLE's house soon in THIRD AUNT'S car. HAHA, I GOTTA bring my COM 101 stuff there. I've got LOTS to study. Who ask that nenenana HIPPO cover the chapters so fast. CRAPPY woman.

Ahh! I can't believe I did the cancelled Week 4's UGC essay. I was supposed to do Week 5 one! haha, so I ended up doing 2 essays today. Ah, crap. I'm so freaking tired now.

Eileen passed me her friend's Franz Ferdinand US Bonus Disc with 'This Ffire', 'Van Tango', 'Shopping for Blood', 'All For You Sophia' and 'Words so Leisured'. And the disc design is SO FUNKY! Gahhh~

The songs are good. *GRINS WIDELY*

YAY, LOVE Franz! They ROCK.

TOTALLY.

I was completely out of my mind today. Haha. I think I just went bonkers when sitting beside Loisa at CSE 111 lab work. Heeh, must be the influence of our white liquid bottle lecturer. He's so freakin funny and um, weird lah. People say he's a lil LOONEY, haha, but mayb it's to entertain the lecture or something. Never know.

So, COM 101's objectivity and the news has been finally postponed. WTH? After I've done so much work? I already finished like, 5 and a half out of 10 articles. UGGGH... but it's okay. I hope we don't get penalised too much. Or at all. She's unpredictably wicked. Heh. NeneNana. tsk tsk. Ah, no.. nvm.

So Loisa and I were rushing like mad thru it just now, but I think we did little work... Jane was really SUPERB man! She has so many tricks up her sleeve. GAwd, she's funny. Hah. Bullying Bug again... heh heh.

Dinner at Megabytes was SO filling. I had a Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwhich, some fries and actually... it was the MILO. It had to be the Milo. I got so freaking bloated! LOL! And I was really impatient 'cos I waited super long for 154 to come. Let's say.. about 20 minutes. Cherie, it's long bus waiting times day. HAHA. Oh man...

LAmey.. the things I come up with.

I was really really losing it just now. Haha, BONkers, bonkers... WEEE~

Guess what! Jonathan, Loisa, Eileen and I attempted to walk to Ngee Ann's canteen 3! lol. But we stopped short 'cos we got lost. HAHA. After tracing the steps back from the last time we walked there... we actually fell short of a few seconds to 2 minutes walk. HAHA.We were standing there discussing when a man walked past and asked if we needed help. LOL. How kind. BUT he said Canteen 3 was CLOSED! -.-

So we walked to canteen 1! I had the chicken noodle thingy.. Not bad, at $2.80. My eyes are so tired, and my brain is aching. I so gotta go now, night, peeps!

I wasn't gonna blog today.

But, oh heck! c'mon... something happened today.

1. Comms 'cher was LATE! Hah. In your face.
2. HOT HOT debate about 'petition'....
3. WAH. pretty um, surprised. Know what? CSE class's 2 hrs. Mr. Lee finished class after 1 hour only! =.=

LOL. list... I've been listing stuff.

next...

OBJECTIVES:
1. Complete at least 5 sources/ articles on Objectivity in the News.
-It's really difficult to find non objective ones ain't it?
2. Study CSE with LABS tmr!

CRAP. of ALL places, the bloody mozzie had to sting my toe. It's very VERY irritating.

People are REALLY wondering whether to sign the petition against our lecturer. She has a lot of flaws. A lot of flaws.

1. Teaching style: haiz. I don't wanna elaborate. I've been sick of all these since secondary school.
2. Good money goes where?
3. MOST IMPORTANTLY:
-ALLOCATION of MARKS.
with a shiaty way to allocate marks like that, dude! There's something wrong she's doing that's NOT following the system we paid for to study.

100% - 4 parts
1. 2 exams - 30% [fine with this]
2. Assignment on Objectivity and news. Hang on.
800 words ONLY? hello. 800 words. - 30 effing percent [WTH?!]
with us having no background knowledge except a short 1 hr explanation of task.
3. Group [2 ppl actually] presentation on a company's PR.
9 weeks listening to CLASSMATES TALK/Present. No evaluations. Just LISTENING to them freaking present. Of course, with 20 minutes allocated to our group.
TASK? : dig out the blurdy deep secrets of how the PR of a company works. Possible? With us having no whatever background? Will a company do that? Difficult lah. It won't be very truthful.
4. participation - 10% [no complains; no problems]

shucks. I'm not happy.

Objectivity is due NEXT monday.

I WANT QUIZZES and more Assignments to spread out allocation of marks! crap, it's unfair. We should have done this earlier.. It's so late already... halfway thru the semester? CRAPPY.

i'm just pissed.

P.I.S.S.E.D

12:35 am

Okay, from tomorrow on, serious. SUPER duper serious.

1 research paper
2 project researched
2 essays

-> THIS WEEK!

Okay. Get SET. Get set. I've gotta gotta be SO SO ready.
I'm hyped. I'm wound up. Come'on!

. . .

Well, today, I did a lil exploratary stuff with the free programs that come with my laptop.

Macromedia Flash Pro 8
I fiddled with it for like, 20 minutes and I gave up. What the heck? I need a teacher for this. Please. FLASH is complicated.

Macromedia Fireworks something
YAY, realised I could actually make an ANIMATED .gif!
WHHHHAT?! Like, I search high and low on the internet for free gif maker programs - to no avail - and what? It's like... here already. So. At least I found how to use it. =.=

:D

I've still got loads of free programs I don't know how to use. HAH. Crappy.

Thinking...

You know what? Lois and I were discussing serious stuff online...

I got SUPER PISSED at our comms lecturer. She's really.. Man. I give up on her.
Lazy.. lazy lazy... Why is she so immatured? Know what? She ALWAYS try to LOCK the lecture theatre's DOORS whenever she's gonna start lesson. AND. She always end 1/2 an hour early.

I REALLY wonder what her qualifications are. You know? She' just MISS. Not DOCTOR whatever. And she's lecturing on a CORE subject. Something which I must do EXTREMELY well in.

I thought some other lecturer said that uhh... the lecturers should show their qualifications at the start of the course? Oh well.

WHAT's wrong with her?
I wrote a whole list of BAD stuff concerning the way she's conducting this course. It's just unofficial rants. Yeah. But...

There's this petition going against the way she's teaching. Yep. And, maybe it can change things. I wonder...

Just wonder...

A research paper is due next monday. Only one week to do. DEAD meat x_x

-sigh-

Okay, you know when I get obsessed with a new band I'll go crazy and start making blogskins of them. Crap. I'm obsessed with P!ATD. Shoot shoot shoot. Argh!

weigh priorities! weigh priorities!

I made another skin. x)

hehe... It's really nice, I think. I tried out a new style with LOTS of inspiration from different web designers. But theirs' look WAY WAY better than mine. REALLY.

So... I'll probably launch it soon. *smirks*
I've stayed at home the whole day.

SO MANY TASKS! I must write a whole list asap.

later! :D

Heya artful minions.

ok, that was weird.
It's so freakin LATE! 2.08am? WHAT the freak is wrong with me?! That's my bedtime nowadays!!! This has SO SO SO gotta change! Badly. Shoot!

Anyway, I experienced my very first bus breakdown today. IT was crappy.

"So that was why you were late?"

"Yea."

I was so happy 154 finally came after a nong nong time... bwahha... OH, and it HAD to break down. Luckily 74 came immediately, so I hopped on. :p PHEW.

The bus was like, vvvroom... vroooom, vviiiihi-hye-hye... vroom... like, move a few inches with every vroom. CRAPPY. Then it starts to go really really slowly to the next bus stop... Where we all got down. IN my head, I was like... NO! NO! NO! Please don't. Please don't! Just a few more stops!!! >.< Then the bad news. BLEH. Broke down.

Oh well...

I got to UGC class, which was utterly confusing and then we had Macs tarpowed from King Albert Park for us (: *smiles*. Haha... so we ate at the benches. And... after everyone *shan* already, it was left with Loisa, Jane and I. Haha, so we cleaned up the mess at the table and chatted... and then... WE "BULLIED" LOISA. lol! Awww... sorry bug. haha. But it was funny, I had to admit. *sinister laugh*

Then...
Psycho (Psychology) class came and... it was tad too mind-boggling... and SUPER DUPER confusing + frustrating. :( Starting to PANIC PANIC. ASSIGNMENTS piling piling piling...

BTW, I haven't submitted the Brendon Urie skin! But I just submitted the Chowder skin! And... I made a Brendon Urie+Ryan Ross skin. I LOVE IT! I think I'm super addicted to Panic! At the Disco. So I've been sourcing for images. HEY. Don't be surprised that my next layout will feature those guys. I just LOVE their elaborate costumes. Great costumes. :D

YEAH. Signin' off for now. :p

Think. Think. Think.

What should I write? Oh... erm.

Today? Well. Funny.

I made a deal with Loisa, saying, if she wears heels today, I will wear heels too. Well, we both kept our promise. *SMILES*

But I think she felt SUPER awkward in them. Oh man... *feel bad time*
I couldn't find something suitable to match my white wedges so I took a t-shirt and jeans. I felt a little weird. Ani said it's alright... I think from now on, I better not wear heels if I have a long day.

Like, so "ka chng jio" - "backside itchy" - not literally. But an expression. LOL
If you don't get it, nevermind. Oh well. As I was saying... I GOT BLISTERS! GRRRR...
>.<

BUT.

Remember we haven't eaten lunch? So we went down to the canteen to have a little food. I bought a stick of Karaage Chicken and a stick of BBQ chicken. Hah, nice. anyway, we waited... and chatted till around 5pm for the biz students to finish their exam. heh heh...

I can't believe it... they were talking about so many stuff. And suddenly talked about my "dream guy". Seriously, I have NO idea what my dream guy is like... Probably tall, and look good in SUITs. Play music. HAHA. so FUNKY. HUMOUROUS too! lol... Didn't tell them so much though. PUNK PUNK! But no smoking! yeahhh... hehe.

*getting a bit paiseh here*

Then...
Walked with Elizabeth to the bus stop...

And we chatted a lil, though her bus came fairly quickly. It has GOT to be like the 3rd time I told her I could only take 154 home! She always thought I'm taking to Clementi MRT station and could take 184 and 154... NOOO! lol... it's so funny... She keeps forgetting.

Nevermind... Nothing much to do... I just completed a Brendon Urie (Panic! At the Disco) blogskin. Maybe I'd post it on Blogskins tomorrow. Ehehehe. HOT HOT band! Love their music too. SMILES cheekily. Gah. FAN FAN FAN.

oh man... stop stop...

OOH! Finally going to drum this FRIDAY! like, after SO SO So So SO long. :D

ALL SMILES. :D jamming drumming rocks! fun ah...

OOH! Blog time :D

I was so worried I was gonna be late for school because I was supposed to wake at 7.45am but Ani woke me up at 8.05! So I didn't have the time to sit down for breakfast.

Morning routine, bag packing...
A few sips of honey, grab my stuff and a tuna bun...

walk walk walk walk walk.

PHEW. I didn't wait long before a 154 came. And I wasn't late for school. :)
yeah. I'm particular about that punctuality thing for school. lol.

OH well.

We sat down for our... lazy Comms class. lazy Mondays.
Then... after that, we chatted awhile before Steph, Jocelyn and I went off to town for the 4 hrs break. YES. 4 hrs. actually 4.5 hrs but we spent 1/2 an hour chatting and all sorts. I don't know. But it all worked out fine.

We went to Food Republic and I ordered Thai Food, actually, fish with sauce and rice. OH! comes with soup. I tell you ah... THE SOUP is the BOMB! scary... But absolutely... MAMMA MIA! It's good.
BUT SUPER SPICY.

Kinokuniya... I bought a MAGazine from there. WHY? smashhits has PANIC! AT THE DISCO and GREEN DAY posters! SCREAMMMMMMMMS!

Oh man, Steph and Jocelyn were saying how I gushed about it so much. LOL. OK OK... And... Oh! Stephanie wore this really slippery slippers with no grip (really. it was FLAT). And we were walking along Orchard Road to HMV on a drizzling (after rain) day. Even more slippery. So what happened? Both of us had to hold Steph hands lest she falls so we can support her. LOL.

Is it funny seeing three girls holding hands walking down orchard road? a bit hor?

LOL... hahaah. No wonder so many people stared!

But who cares! haha

OKay...

CSE 111 was such a dozer.

I could see zZzzs popping out from everyone's heads.
I think now the Z monster is our cse lecturer, not the esl one. haha.

We celebrated Jiahui Jie's 21st yesterday!

we were at Sentosa's boat restaurant whatever it is called. The food was, well, not bad. Pretty good, I say. haha...

And the cake's pretty good too. Spotted me?

I'm the one in uhm... the most unexpected colour (friends, behold. cousins, nothing odd or out of the ordinary) pink?

HECK! It's comfortable okay? YES!
And I think the belt's pretty. haha.

OH... Shijia jie's birthday too! Haha, she's 19! Listen. 19! haha.

Okay.. stop my crapping.

Sentosa...

I've got a few pics.

Oh! Unexpectedly (or expectedly?) ...
As we made our exit from the restaurant, ahead of us, fireworks started to lit up the sky and...

whoa.

Da Jiu Jiu (Big Uncle) kept saying it's specially for Jiahui jie's 21st Bday(obviously not).

Haha... pretty sight. BUT I was slow.. so I missed the shot though I saw the whole fireworks show. Haha, GAVE UP! Gor took a nice vid! Perhaps I'd post it on Stickam a few days after.

I took a pic of the view from the boat, the bridge that links Sentosa to mainland Singapore.
Okay... nothing much happened then... I think, it was pretty nice overall, the party. Nice family gathering. :D

blody infuriated.

no channels to express my anger.

except the blog.

I was supposed to be home at 4pm. Mum was supposed to be at the store at 3pm.

I can't believe I actually bothered to countdown. Yah. She promised she'll let me have the day off if I go help her in the morning. That means I only have to work 3 hours.

3pm - where is mum?

AT HOME.

4pm - where is mum?

REDHILL - lil brother cutting hair.

5pm - where is mum?

REDHILL - big brother seeing doctor.

6pm - where is mum?

Crown Prince Hotel basement.

6.20pm - I'm at the car.

7.00pm(or so) - HOME, finally.

wasted: 3 additional hours.

doing: reading Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell while looking out for people at the store.

THUS,
the only thing I should remember from now on is. Don't trust mum to be early or on time. SHE WILL NEVER.

I know that.

What research? It doesn't matter.

What work? Aiyah, no mood to do.

What results? Bad lor

What money? wasted lah.

I GOTTA share this with you!
Oh man. It's funny.

A husband read an article to his wife about how many words women use a day...

30,000 to
a man's 15,000.

The wife replied, "The reason has to be because we have to repeat everything to men...

The husband then turned to his wife and asked, "What?"

lol

ahhh... today was a very relaxing day. And the rain is so cool and nice. I like the temperature now. lol

I was in school at 1.47pm! 'cos I had to meet Loisa and Cherie for our com 101 project discussion. YAY, finally sent out an e-mail to Swensens. I wonder if they will accept us interviewing them.

And... then English lesson was overtaken by a library tour... how crappy. lol. Nevermind. At least there's Jane, Jocelyn, Stephanie, Cherie and Krystel. :D

YAY.

Oh... but then I gotta think of RESEARCH! Haven't come up with a topic yet.

Oh man...
I know my nick on msn is really crappy...

I just heard 3 Doors Down's song, "Kryptonite". Then, came Ken who said I should change it to Superwoman. Then Alex said a whole load of uhh ... lame stuff. NO! You can't call me Superman! and OH! so your sister sleeps three doors down and doesn't write songs. ALRIGHT... "..." (wu ya fei guo) Then Loisa sent me the song "Superwoman" by Tao Ze. =.=

Thus, I changed my nick to...
"So you sail away into a grey sky morning; now I'm here to stay... love can be so boring... "

I was listening to "Best I ever Had" by Vertical Horizon.

YES. =.=

I wonder if I'll get quirky comments again...

hmm... I was surfing some of my secondary school classmates' and friends blogs instead of studying for UGC! -.- So in trouble.

Haha.

I was wondering if the ties that bond friendships the most was forged in tertiary education times or secondary school times. That's because I RARELY contact any of my secondary school classmates/ friends now.

I didn't have a lot of friends...

it's time to delve into my deep, dark past... not.

I think I'm enjoying these times much more than secondary school. I wouldn't go back to Queensway Sec for no reason. Even if it's Teachers' Day. haha... I don't particularly like secondary school life. NOR do I miss it. I'm only happy with the few friends I made... Sandra... my sec 1 'mates... yeah... and DRUM tutor... lol. These people are NICE. nice nice.

But truthfully, I had lessons till 5 on Teachers' Day '06. Yep. That's often used as an excuse though it's a fact. I like spilling out stuff here. ah. Yes.

oh well. I'll forget lousy secondary school days. Think forward. THINK GOOD.

12:44 am

Oh well, whatever biatching yesterday was rubbish.

School today(13th Sept/ Wednesday) was fine... albeit normal. Yes. Normal. I'm still like a little nomad in English class. I haven't settled down nor have I made friends with people I could talk to and get along with. SIGH... How I wish the groupings of English class never changed. ESL 407/D was great. =.= No more Glenda. Haha... but then there's this blur blur angmoh 'cher now. UGH...

She kept stepping on my sling bag's strap like nobody's business.

Whatever. Yeah... still nomadic... sometimes sit here, sometimes sit there. I couldn't find my place somehow. I figure I should just buy the textbook quickly (so I need not trouble people) and settle down at the back of the class for full attention to the class, without the troubles of interaction with my classmates in english class.

lol

I didn't make fun of anyone today. YEH!

right. It makes me sound so mean. But I always go about doing that in a joking manner. NOW? I'm really afraid people would take offense. Therefore,

WAKE UP YOUR IDEA!

Yeah. woke up...

just be happy-go-lucky. I'm fine with this, fine with that... be breezy. I got to school early today. YES! I like it when there're seats all over the place, and that I don't have to squirm over a lousy seat. Rubbish. I don't right? Grrr. Whatever! I'm starting to talk cock.

heh heh.

Com 101 presentation on 25th October! PANIC.

UGC test!!! PANIC.

PSYCHOLOGY research!!! panic.

ahaaa.. I did some search on paedophiles, the subject (mental disorder?) for research on our psychology group work.

Oh well... pretty psychotic stuff. lol.

CSE today was really DUMB! Crappy lah. What Microsoft Excel... crapped up. I really got pissed with the UNCLEAR instructions our lect.r gave. >:

At least it's over. AND we were the last to leave the room again. Luckily Acherna was sitting beside me. SHE had a textbook, you see. @.@!

I think I better do some more research and then read a bit more on UGC or something. THEN, take my well-deserved sleep. :]

Today, everyone is in a mean arse bad(sian) mood.

It is infectious.

I thought I could look forward to school; school is getting on my nerves.

I might just become that reclusive quiet, undisturbing unknown in my past.

This semester sucks. I hope tomorrow will be better. That's because I can say, today really sucks. Is it me? Or are people closing up and not laughing nor smiling sincerely anymore?

There's this moody thing going on.
Well, I for one am in no mood to smile or laugh. Maybe I appear fierce. So people think I am not one who takes jokes. So I have become the epitome of "sian".

This "suan-ing" thing is so STUPID. I hate it. There is so much rubbish.

I hate rubbish.

I like blogs 'cos I can rant. But I can't rant as free as I could because there are known and unknown viewers.

I suddenly feel like I've become offensive to the people around me.

Therefore, I have chosen to take the quiet route. I think relationships are always prone to misunderstanding. Whatever relationships that is. If I just remain sitting on the fence... oh... maybe these things will fade away. But then I'll become that reclusive loner that I fear to be.

I thought my life was a simple boring one. Yes, so far. But the tides are turning. It's gonna be a rough journey ahead. Hang on tight for your life.

If you fall overboard, it'll be hard to salvage 'man overboard'.

I'm not angry. I'm just unhappy over peoples' behaviour sometimes. Who knows? Maybe it stems from me.

We ain't perfect. NO ONE's perfect. No. No being.

Maybe I'll recover. For now, HOME is the best place for me. It's time to de-stress.

and NO, I didn't fall out with anybody.

Sometimes some people need some quiet time. I shall not disturb anyone further. A test shall be put forth for me to keep my mouth shut unless utterly necessary, of course, not affecting my studies which is forthrightly the most important thing right now in my life. Others are second in nature.

or not.

Don't put words in my mouth, don't put actions in my movements.

"Don't see her quiet quiet one ah, when she blast you, you will shock one"
-distorted excerpt.

something like that.

"Don't see her quiet quiet one ah, actually she's very cunning and sly."
-distorted excerpt.

Really?

umm.. is it good or bad? Oh! I like cunning if I'm cunning. LOL. I'm so "suan-ing" people nowadays. I better stop before people think I'm a "suan-er". Haha, or a crappy person. I'm NOT crappy! I just crack cold jokes sometimes. AYE. But you people laugh okay. NO. NO. Not always. But.

Nevermind.

cute sly cunning clever fat weird funky punk hip cool

of all those descriptions, I like the last one. Cool. YEAH...

Alright. Ms. Hippo is so crappy. Crappy Miss Hippo is our whiny whiny lect.r. UGHHH.
(so random)

OH!

Yesterday, we went to OG and shop. Then I got myself a set of Mentholatum lipbalms 'cos my lips were chapped RWAR. Bad thing. I didn't realised one of them is like lip-stick. =.= Nevermind. I like the packaging!

We had Swensens for dinner. Oh! The ice-cream. I tell you ah, at this rate I'm gonna become like HIPPO. Check these ice-creams the 4 of us shared.

Their new additions/promotions! NUTs ice-cream.

THE HUGE Earthquake!

Nice huh?

There's a flea market at SIM now! There're some pretty nice stuff. haha... But they were only setting it up just now, I think we should go down and have a good look at it again. heh heh.

Ummm... and OH! Steph, Jocelyn and I went to WEST MALL! Well, we had our lunch, and window-shopped. Lol. Today is Turquoise Day! Right... You know, Steph has a time-table laid out for me already.

Monday
Turquoise Day
Tuesday
Punk Rock Day
Wednesday
Feminine Day
Thursday
Punk Rock Day
Friday
Casual Day.

Right... Monday shall be unconfirmed alright? HAHA... That's because I didn't realised that OH! I'm wearing the same colour t-shirt as my jacket. lol. Must have looked really WEIRD.

I just spent A LOT of time surfing Sims 2 fansites to download stuff. So cool! Argh.. I shall play sometime soon(i hope).

And MSN is so frustrating. I couldn't sign onto messenger! Then I found out everyone couldn't. Haha!

WHAT???!!!

OK, I was just surfing STOMP! and I came across this.
Oh! Did I mention? Last Sunday, a car crashed into our stall(38th Boulevard) and trashed it bad? Yeah. Some guy took a photo of it and gave STOMP the details.

Check this out.

There you go. That's our Orchard stall in front of Swensens! The picture reads, "Errant Driver Destroys Orchard Road Stall".

It's fixed now. That's good. We're still waiting for the police to sort stuff out.

Oh!

Nur Hafiz Bin Mohd Ramlan, 18, sent this MMS to 75557 after he saw this white car crash into a roadside stall just outside Crown Hotel on Orchard Road at 6.45am September 3.

According to Nur Hafiz, four police cars turned up to investigate the matter, and there was a motorbike lying on the road near the accident scene opposite Paragon.

Police confirm that they received a call at 6.20 am about an accident between a motorcycle and a car, which then veered into a roadside stall.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, suffered serious injuries but was conveyed conscious to Singapore General Hospital. The driver of the car and both passengers were not hurt.

I just logged onto MSN Messenger, and I saw this at "Windows Live Today"...

Pictures that lie.

Haha... doctored pictures. A WHOLE LOT! With photoshop I guess? I particularly liked the first one.

Oh I'm so bored... at pg. 202 of Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell though. What's it's genre? Fantasy right? Like, what's wrong with fantasy? Weird. OH. Nothing... It's a long story. And there are a few peculiar incidents. Peculiar.

I was pretty confused at first(had I already say that?)... but then as I move along.... GAHHH! nice story. I'd like to continue on... but, oh it's for leisure.

There's gonna be a POPULAR sale going on in my school next week!

I HOPE they don't sell this book at a discount. Or I'd be totally ... (o.O) !!!

But I'll check it out anyway...

Ummm... nothing much happened today. I like SNOW PATROL! haha... oh man. "Chasing Cars" is such a good song. And "RUN" too! ahhh yep.

Ummm... anything else? nah... went to "wu shu"(5th uncle) 's house for family gathering just now. AHHH. FOOD, glorious food...

'bloat-fulness'... the immobility of 'bloat-fulness'...

introducing...
THE MEGA MUD!
(with a bite in it)

I had it... last week? Yes. It was really fabulous. Remember the Phua Chu Kang episode? "Absolutely fabulous"! lol. Well, the top layer is Chocolate ice-cream. The second is Vanilla ice-cream and the base is... BROWNIE! WHOOOA. nice huh? Does it make you drool?

It's considered cheap okay! Hey, GUESS! How much?
...
...
...

$2.20!

it was pretty rock hard though. =.=
but it's ok.

Next...
That's L's black puppy! nah... just joking. You don't mind me joking right? REALLY. I'm just joking. That was yesterday. I was about to go home after English class 'cos com science class was cancelled. Then, I got a call from L. A little desperate plea about people there being sexually prejudiced or something? So I went to check out the mess. It was calm and cool... Someone even attempted to show us some sitting Kung-fu moves. Too bad my camera was too slow. oh man... what rubbish.

september 7
Today was a boring day. Eileen, Loi-sah and I were supposed to go swimming but it was cancelled at the last minute because the big bunch were going to a Taiwanese restaurant to dine. Yeah, and we were supposed to follow. But then they ended class at 12.45pm while we started class at 12.45pm. So they went off first. =.=

So.. they "tar-powed" for us. Well, Jane sms-ed me the whole list.
1. Braised chicken rice
2. vermicelli with oysters
3. beef noodle
4. minced pork noodles
5. minced pork rice

well, strike out beef.

3. beef noodle

hmmm...

minced pork? alright.
So I told them Minced Pork Rice. $4.80

It wasn't very nice... a little bland and boring. And the minced pork tasted funny. But the spice is good. OH... it got a little "ni". Ermm... yeah. But okay lah. Maybe we should go visit the real restaurant!

And Loisa exploded into a fireball. That's because her minced pork noodles were... spicy. So she got ice cubes from Kenneth and ...

it became minced pork ice noodles.

>>>

INTRODUCING...
the not-well-shot(unflattering) photo of the OREO CHEESE CAKE from Starbucks which tasted FABULOUS+FANTASTIC. In actual fact, it actually looks good.
expensive too. $5.50 =.=

And, yes. It's bitten.

11:00 pm

Hi, this post is so delayed. I didn't want to use the computer yesterday and I didn't have the need to anyway.

Umm, I was overwhelmed by the number of turtle emoticons on MSN when I logged in on Monday. At first it was 4, then it steadily increased, by around 9pm, there were like, 15 people having turtles on their nicks. Ok. Confusing. So I was discussing with Loisa. And she told me something that was pretty scary... to accept...? Yeah. It was really... bad. Well, she told me that Steve Irwin, the Croc Hunter, is dead. Stung by a stingray.

I do watch his shows on Animal Planet and realise he's such a famous conservationist. Even my grandmother knows him when she doesn't even speak a word of English at all. (ok, maybe "ok", but it's not really counted) ...

So when I read the news on CNN, it was pretty shocking. Kind of a bitter irony isn't it? The freak accident... A stingray? Something that only took 2 lives before Irwin in the recorded history of Australia?

oh man...

He must have been on news headlines all over the world. He's popular, I say. And it's sad a great conservationist like him perished huh? Oh well... but the stingray shouldn't be blamed in any way 'cos it only triggered a natural defense mechanism which is meant to protect it.

Oh! I tagged on Sandra's blog about whether he's gonna have a state funeral and then went to read CNN.com. I realised that he wasn't going to get one because his dad felt that he's an 'ordinary guy' and so he shall have and ordinary funeral. Alright...

moving on...

I realised it has been such a long time since I read a book. You know? I used to be such a bookworm. Haha... Yep, I remember George saying that I always used to have a book by me all the time in secondary school, especially 1 and 2.

THEREFORE... an act of impulse. I wanted so much to immerse myself in a novel! So I bought "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell" by Susanna Clarke at my school's Popular Bookstore. At a discount anyway! Haha...

At first, I felt the first 2 chapters were pretty stale and confusing? yeah... for me. Anyway, I think as it progresses, it gets clearer. Ahh, I find it really interesting now. :D

Okay. i think I gotta do my UGC homework now! ONE essay!!! -.-

11:43 pm

I seriously ought to be asleep now. But the problem is... my hair is wet! ugh. Hair dryer? HOT! I don't like. Anyway, it has been a long day for me. And a tiring one, I must say. I went to the Comex fair. And it was PACKED. Literally. SQUEEZE-time.

Simply put, "crowds sucks". HAHA. no, I just don't like crowds. I had a very bad train ride experience just now. It was REAL horrible. I boarded the train at Commonwealth and it was REALLY crowded... it just got worse, and at City Hall, man. it was just TERRIBLE. The whole train had people packed like sardines already and there wasn't ANY space left for people to keep squeezing in already. I literally had my face squeezed onto the metal pole I was holding onto earlier. It was bad, real bad. Like, what's up with those idiots, they're invading my space. It was so unbearable. MAN! Are they rushing to reincarnate or what? Is there a need to pack into the train like that, instead of waiting for the next one? It's really stupid and rude. AND infuriating! I had the urge to just splurt rude words and get those people to wait for the next train. They didn't let the passengers alight first you know? They just rushed in like mad salmons! It's mad. MAD I say.

I think I shall just forget about it. Comex was a bit... uhh. Confusing? I didn't buy anything. I just went there for a little experience. HAHA. It wasn't a good one, I can say that. We were hogged by a Prudential woman for an hour. She wanted us underaged kids to buy insurance. It was terror, I say. I think that was one of the DUMBEST things I have ever done. Instead of declining politely, we went through the whole dumb ordeal to finally have the Prudential lady realise I'm too young to be signing these documents. DARN! Waste of my time. And Loisa's too. Oh by the way, the Pru lady called her "LOI- SAH" as in 'loi' then 'sa'. Not flowingly. LOL! I'm so not investing my money so soon! Let's wait till I'm 18 then we'll talk about investment okay? I'm still 16 going on 17. I'm not even 17 yet! crap.

Then..... dinner at Tampines Mall, loisa got a guitar pick, we ate at Yoshinoya, spilt some soup, dot dot dot, et cetera, I set my mind on getting Panic! At the Disco's album and even brought money for it... but I couldn't find it at all. SO. Hey, too bad then. :(

I reached home at ummmmm... 8plus? Yeah. It was around there. Then I sat down at the dining area and watched some tv. It was boring and I was just surfing channels... But I remembered there were these "Boy with Divine Powers" and "Born Again Buddhists" documentaries that were showing today... But I couldn't remember the timings. Although...

Eventually, I found out it was at 9pm and 10pm. Yep, I was really fascinated by these documentaries, and they were pretty new, featured this month. So I watched them. Oh, am I amazed. The first one intrigued me a lot. It was about this 15 year old boy, who meditated for about 10 months or so already, when the programme was shot. And he went without food nor water. Just pure meditation and sitting under a ... i'm not sure was it a banyan tree? And it was really WOW. Pretty fascinating stuff there... shocking. Yeah, but he went missing this year. Maybe he went deeper into the jungle to meditate so that there was no disturbance from outsiders, or maybe something bad happened. I hope not. Oh! And he was about to continue for another six years to attain enlightenment. Scientists doubt he can live that long. I don't know about it... After enlightenment? I think... it should be helping the people around him, doing teachings and all these stuff. I haven't got to know much about my religion yet. So it's a bit confusing for me, the meanings of all these stuff. I'm a little ummm... how do I put it? Nevermind, this you need not know... haha.

The next one was about... reincarnation. I really don't know much about the whole reincarnation thing.. again, well... it's a belief I guess. Yes. It is a belief. I think it's true, I mean, what I really think. But people can be skeptical about things. No comments about this though. It was pretty informative and I've learnt stuff. Yep. I just, want to know more. Thirst for knowledge.

MONSTER HOUSE!

It's a pretty... comical show. Oh well. I think it's really adorable. Especially Chowder! Chowder is so... haha haha adorable...

"
D.J.: Don't look back!

(Chowder looks back at the monster house; house ROAARs)

Chowder: I looked back! (AHHHH!) I looked back...!

*smirks*

Oh man...

Not bad lah, Monster House... so cute

UMM...
It was such a last minute decision. This morning, I went to school to get the 2nd hand books for classes... It was pretty expensive! Haha, nevemind. No more CSE 111 books. I wonder what to do... hmmm maybe we just need to follow Mr. Lee's notes.

Anyway, we went to Tiong Bahru plaza... actually there were 4 of us, so we planned to share a cab, since the pricing will be around the same as when we take public transport SINCE we all pay adult fare now.

But Justin came along so Michelle, Cherie and Justin shared one cab, while Loisa and I shared another. Ugh... Since we were rushing for the movie, we had no choice but to take a cab, or "pang-sei" the 3 who were on their way there. So, we went lah! DUH. The taxi driver said, "Drive there by Steven Road ah?!" and since he said so, and I had no idea where that place is since he's the expert, I said, "OK". Then we passed by Far East Plaza and Tang Plaza, so I got a little panicky. I was asking Loisa how? And I thought he was going to go to Plaza Singapura. Oh man, phew. We were wrong. So we weren't street smart. Loisa was wondering if he took a huge detour. So I asked her to ask the 3 what was their cab fare. "$9.10". You know what? When we reached, our fare was $9.10 too! haha, was it a coincedence or WHAT?!

Then.. after the movie, we got lunch at Burger King and then went back to school. Loisa took an Mrt home while we shared a cab to school. OH MAN! So funny, scary though... the cab had some problem with the gear. After stopping, it has to shift to 3rd gear or something? I don't know. Then when he starts driving, he will have to shift to gear 1 or 2. But it was stuck! It kept malfunctioning! And we were turning into the expressway. I was really worried. And the poor driver! He just started his taxi career and we were his very FIRST passengers! haha... tsk tsk. But he was alright. He panicked and was totally perspiring all over. So everytime he stops at a traffic light, and then try to move again, he has to turn off the engine, shift the gear to 1 and thenhold it tightly there and on the engine again. Something like that. I don't know about cars. MAN...

But we eventually got back to school, and class EARLY.
It was English class and we had to do an in-class diagnostic essay... about our neighbourhood. So I wrote about Clementi larh! ahahaa.

That's about it. I can't believe it... I'm blogging EVERYDAY?! man...
