But this made me blurt.
Hah. What's with Bden?!!! But throughout the whole Rage show they looked kinda bored but totally eased.
I've added a new feature! Sometimes blogger just LAGS it up... oh man, I mean, when the blog loads, it loads pretty LONG. What's with that? Okay, I think... I have lotsa images displayed here.

About the "NEW FEATURE".
It's called SNAP. As in s-n-a-p, oh! okay, you get it. Like, take-a-pic. You see, if you hover over a link now you're gonna see a preview of the site. I'm sorry if you're going over to check your link now at the "links" page, I think it may not work, as in, it's not perfect. So, I don't know what's with it not working in that navi but oh well. [update//03-01-07: doesn't show in internal links most of the time; but I've seen it work once.] It's pretty cool and works with the sidebar so YEAH.
I bought a set of fabric paint! Hey, it GLOWS-IN-THE-DARK okay?! How cool is that? heh. Well,today (actually yesterday 'cos it's already past 12am and it shows FRIDAY) wasn't exceptionally nice. Firstly, I went out at around 4+ and took 197 with HY to Queensway Shopping C. We missed a stop so we had to walk back to QSC from old-ex-Safra. Whatever. hah, we wanted to get his uniform but it was OUT OF STOCK. Gee, how lucky. His problem. Well, no worries. There might be stock tomorrow at his school. And that lil boy's archery competition's been CANCELLED. Again. Yeah, the rain. SIGH to that! He's been training much. So after that we walked to Alexandra hospital bus-stop then there wasn't a bus we could take supposedly to Orchard [sua-ku-moment], so we walked to the bus stop opp Ikea and nope, so we had to go back to safra to take a bus to dad's office and then take the car to Orchard. It was a long story and it was raining all the way so it wasn't exactly pleasant to keep walking around in circles.
I went reading a mag at the Harris bookstore at orchard mrt station and guess WHAT!!! There was a super long write-up on MCR! I just stood there and read ... it was kinda awkward 'cos it was so long BUT it was WORTH IT! YEAP. worth it. Lotsa juice in there. It had AFI on the cover... =] not a fan of AFI though. The frontman has *scary* hair. And I don't quite like his *cough* make-up. No, not as nice as Gerard's. =]

MOVIE update!
Night at the Museum was so funny! Like, really - LAUGH OUT LOUD LOADS kinda funny.
I like Ahkmenrah!!! The Egyptian Pharoah. Haha... He's played by Rami Malek. I always find the Egyptian Pharoahs in Discovery Channel really handsome (those young ones), I mean like, there's the successor of Queen Hatshepsut, he's the one who led an army to victory or something like that right? According to one of the documentaries I watched. Oh, some of 'em just gives me that impression. That of the suave, powerful Egyptian pharoahs decked out in their absolutely gorgeous attire and headress.
So I made an icon.
He's pretty suave.
Actually I made two more, but it's about
the same so forget it, I won't upload 'em here, haha... :)
HILARIOUS lines they made up there. So, yeah... it was at Orchard and since it ended pretty late, the cuzzies went off after dinner, and strolling around the area + visiting my parents at the store...
Well, I had developed a headache and it was quite boring but I FINALLY got my "The Black Parade" cd! It is fantastic! I love love love love love it. =] *I'm so pleased* Loisa's doggy bit the one she already got, so we settled upon giving each other ang baos. But since she needed a new watch, I'm sourcing one out for her.
OH, also, the Singapore Garden Festival was pretty fab. The designs were real good and the whole exhibition area was SO serene! It felt pretty good. =] I took lots of pictures despite having LOW BATTERY. *what a bummer* I had to turn off the flash but that resulted in shaky hands producing shaky pictures. Jocelyn's camera's good! So I want her pics! HAHA...

Okay, made a mosaic... the pics are real tiny, I know. *shrugs*

But I like the overall effect! It's pretty nice. :) Yea. That's just a few, I took around 40+ pics.
I had a problem with vocabulary yesterday too. It was really crappy. Like, the "coop", I called it a "hen house" although I knew it was a coop, well, it was just that I couldn't find the word. And also, "the spraying spraying thing", oh... it was a "sprinkler". And a lot of examples, I totally forgot. It kept happening with Jocelyn. LOL.
We had Pastamania! for dinner. I should've stuck to the classic... chicken bolognese.
Trust me to choose something different. Maybe it's because "cheese" struck me more than "spinach". But "spinach" made me not like the food. I ordered a Spinach Tortellini. It was supposedly stuffed with some cheese too. And they used tomato sauce/ gravy too. So?
Lesson learnt. I shall not order that again. Well, Steph came to the RESCUE! Phew, she ate half of her seafood pasta thingy and exchanged it for the other half of my plate of tortellini. I am oh-so-grateful. Haha, she said she didn't mind the taste, but she wouldn't order it again. HAHA. Honestly, it was pretty strong stuff, the spinach.
I was pretty glad at the fact that I could take a direct bus home, although it was a pretty long ride. But it's better than taking the mrt, then transferring to bus again. A lot of waiting time...
I guess, that's about it. =)

then I saw this old radio...
a battery powered one
and I fiddled around with it
when I turned it on, "holiday" by green day was playing. It was really catchy.. real... WOW. impressive.
so I waited till the song ended and then the dj said the name
so I went to download it. and then searched on green day, got myself some songs, and from then on it really got on.
I really really appreciated rock music, especially green day's by not singing about love and sorrow but also politics and everything that is real serious instead of *bling, cash* and *love and pop*. haha. (oops, but i'm being honest here) so, it really blasted off. I got REAL crazy over green day. my elder bro was like... he really thinks i was too crazy over them coz i kept surfing the net for
their pics
and he called me a green day freak
I didn't exactly liked that
but then now i really don't if u call me a green day freak, mcr freak or p!atd freak
haha
used to it.
anyway, i got myself their special edition album as soon as possible and then later on their dvd live show. everyone in school got to know me as the "green day fan too" coz i decorated my stuff with their pics i printed out. i could totally show u the notebook cover i made.
then when "helena" came out, by mcr, i was awed. totally floored. it was awesome and everything! but it kinda paled down and i din really got on to mcr then. but i went crazy over kaiser chiefs for awhile and when franz ferdinand came out with their album, i went bonkers too. with the "do you want to" video. and the bassist has a really adorable face. the lead's just HOT. haha. but not my type ha.
by the way, the funny thing was, I totally identified with the songs they played, like "castaway", "minority". [GD] haha
oh, no. that was not the funny thing. the funny thing was when Green Day first released their album, American Idiot in 2004, I saw the ad on tv, and i was like, "so noisy! what is that? a new band huh? eee." that's not very nice to hear now and I know it's totally contradictory but a person can really change.
how i got back to mcr
i was totally over them until i watched welcome to the black parade in class. that's stupid yeah
but it was fab [the vid]
i went back and got totally hooked so from then on i kept listening to their songs. wow. they're a real sad band.. i mean, their backgrd. but they're huge, they're major now.

oh, i tried several times to deny i'm crazy over all these people because i dun want it to influence me too much
but i didn't control myself
or rather i wasn't able to, so i just spiralled and they're real inspiring.

What have I done?
Oh, I haven't stepped out of the house for around 2 days already. I'm determined to go out tomorrow!
Yesterday I woke in the afternoon and spent my day just slacking, watching MCR live videos they played @ House of Blues, LA and Reading/Leeds show on youtube.
Oh, and I was kinda ready to go to Sentosa or otherwise Vivocity, but the time I woke up and switched on my phone this morning, well, everything was cancelled. So, well, no Sentosa, nothing today. It was 9am and we had a long discussion till around 10, I was on my bed, half asleep. Goodness.
Oh! By the way, tomorrow's shopping is ALSO cancelled. Haha... So I'm going to watch a Night at a Museum tomorrow. Well, what sucks is I'm supposed to be going to watch that on Thurs with friends but every timing falls in place wrongly and I think I'm feeling extremely crapped up.
PLUS the weather. It's been raining intermittently like, since yesterday. So people are all so cooped up. GAH. what the? Okay, it's cool, it's cold... But... Oh, it's just pretty boring at home.
AND I'm not always LATE anymore. I'm just troubled.
Spill out your thoughts. I'm gonna just photoshop or something. If you were here everybody is minding their business and you could see my face is just totally GLUM. -.-
OH! By the way, I've been meddling around with Livejournal in my spare time(pssst! I've lotsa that these few days!). Haha. It's complicated. Does that remind u of the friendster thingy? Haha. It's complicated. YEAH. I don't get it much. But the overrides portion, I'm figuring a little stuff out.

My GERARD WAY (I didn't mean to say "Gerard Way" but I did 'cos I said by the way haha) skin has navis! They're the tiny words there, below his NAME! ARGH! See it?! YAY!
Okay. I made a few .gif animations. HAHA! YAY! I made like, using frame by frame. So it took pretty long. But I'm quite satisfied with them. Made 3 big ones as test ones and another 3 icon/avatar type. 100x100. :]
I'm gonna get my fruit fix!

super-slammed the lecturers on the ECE survey thingy today. THAT's GREAT! woo-hoo... I know, I made a LOT of comments. :)

That's all. I love being honest. It's slamming them constructively and honestly so that they would IMPROVE! woo-hoo. That's all.
p.s. I got nothing expecially significant on my mind so much so that I even remember that the weather for today was reported as "Intermittent rain. Heavy at times". Or something like that. WOO... I'm bored. BYE.

I MADE 28 ICONS today!
As in 100x100 avatars.
So I could spice up my msn display pic every now and then.
HAHA, (as if I talk to so many people).
BUT GEE, I feel accomplished. And I'm happy with the icons. :)

But it wasn't in Top 15 or anything. *Sobs* And the downloads... weren't exactly impressive. SIGH.

It didn't do well too. Ahh, but it's almost always like that. If you're lucky, people like 'em and use them. You just... uhh... present some of your stuff, *just for decoration*. If you get recognition, that's all cool.
So, I have a badminton meet* (let's call it a friends gathering) with Sandra and peeps. Oh well, I'm glad it's just 3 stops from home! At Clementi *sniggers*... But the thing is it's at 9AM!!! That's really early. And I'm not ASLEEP yet. So, you know what's next.

Oh gee, I didn't watch Happy Feet with Mum yesterday anyway. I got a last minute sms so I decided to go to Escape! Theme Park. The entrance was only 6 bucks since they were having their 6th Aniversary. So, Mum went watching it with 4th Aunt and cuz ANYWAY.
Escape was sorta... boring yesterday. All the thrill rides were like, closed. SO LAME. Aiyah, they weren't any thrilling anyway. 6 bucks. What do you expect?! haha... The flume ride was closed, the panasonic roller coaster was closed, the cadbury 360 ride was closed, the pepsi ride was closed. It was pretty crappy actually. The only rides we took were the nauseous ones like Rainbow, viking, the spinning one.. yeah. That's about it. And the super lame Haunted House which was so freaky but without anyone to scare you.
LAME! gee...
OKay... haha. It was tiring, 'cos we had to queue so long for everything. SCREAMING was fun though! And for both times we rode the ship, we sat at the last row. That's the row with the best view BTW! Yeah, and we raised our hands and SCREAM! It was fun. haha...
The spinning ride was boring though it looked a lil' scary. Yeah. It's boring. Eileen and I SCREAMED like, crazy. I think she screamed more. VOICES were super cracked up. At last, the guy who came to release our latch was like, "It's okay, it's over" or something like that. But oh man, it was pretty... sigh... ok. It wasn't exactly thrilling. hahaa!
What else?
The RAIN! It was really.. UGH.. crapped. We couldn't play any rides 'cos of the rain. And when it finally stopped, the staff started cleaning up but after say 10-15 minutes of test ride, the rain started again and they had to stop all the rides AGAIN! How stupid!
So we totally decided to forgo the rides and went for the haunted house before getting out of there. Hah.
I don't like the queues! lol
Dinner was at BEDOK! The bar chor mee is good man! The one dad brings us to on some Saturdays...! HMMM..
Oh! When I was going home, I got stuck at the bus stop which I alighted from, and it was SUPER CREEPY! 'cos it's along the AYE, so there was no one there at all, and just nice, the bus stop had a blackout. WOW. *sweet aye*? -sensed the sarcasm? And then there was lighting every now and then, plus thunder. It was pouring really heavily too! So I called home. After 8 minutes, Ani and HY came to pick me up with umbrellas. Guess what, the umbrella wasn't of much use. I walked home without a drop of rain falling to the floor. The rain like, totally stopped. But the thing was, when I reached my doorstep, it started pouring like CRAZY...! haha, that is SO FUNNY.
Okay, I think I'm in the RCT mood. I shall go play roller coaster tycoon 3! whippee.
Escape was sorta... boring yesterday. All the thrill rides were like, closed. SO LAME. Aiyah, they weren't any thrilling anyway. 6 bucks. What do you expect?! haha... The flume ride was closed, the panasonic roller coaster was closed, the cadbury 360 ride was closed, the pepsi ride was closed. It was pretty crappy actually. The only rides we took were the nauseous ones like Rainbow, viking, the spinning one.. yeah. That's about it. And the super lame Haunted House which was so freaky but without anyone to scare you.
LAME! gee...
OKay... haha. It was tiring, 'cos we had to queue so long for everything. SCREAMING was fun though! And for both times we rode the ship, we sat at the last row. That's the row with the best view BTW! Yeah, and we raised our hands and SCREAM! It was fun. haha...
The spinning ride was boring though it looked a lil' scary. Yeah. It's boring. Eileen and I SCREAMED like, crazy. I think she screamed more. VOICES were super cracked up. At last, the guy who came to release our latch was like, "It's okay, it's over" or something like that. But oh man, it was pretty... sigh... ok. It wasn't exactly thrilling. hahaa!
What else?
The RAIN! It was really.. UGH.. crapped. We couldn't play any rides 'cos of the rain. And when it finally stopped, the staff started cleaning up but after say 10-15 minutes of test ride, the rain started again and they had to stop all the rides AGAIN! How stupid!
So we totally decided to forgo the rides and went for the haunted house before getting out of there. Hah.
I don't like the queues! lol
Dinner was at BEDOK! The bar chor mee is good man! The one dad brings us to on some Saturdays...! HMMM..
Oh! When I was going home, I got stuck at the bus stop which I alighted from, and it was SUPER CREEPY! 'cos it's along the AYE, so there was no one there at all, and just nice, the bus stop had a blackout. WOW. *sweet aye*? -sensed the sarcasm? I ate till I almost puked yesterday. It's always like that at buffets. You know you will always make the most out of your money. So you gorge yourself with heaps and plates of food off the buffet tables.
We spent like, 3 hours in the Olive Tree Restaurant at the Intercontinental Hotel eating our dinner. Yeah. You shocked? Me too. It was crazy. Really crazy. Guess what, in the end we only paid like, $30 for Mum, Hy and me. Big Aunt needn't pay but just as well, she wanted to treat us so she paid $20. Haha, we had some vouchers and Intercontinental Hotel membership anyway. So it's cool.
Cheap RIGHT?! haha...
I wanted to watch a movie yesterday, but nothing I'm interested in is showing yet, so might as well just stay home. Yeah, only went out during dinner.
Mum said she'd watch Happy Feet with me tomorrow. Actually, I kinda start to feel that it is kinda lame... but oh well, I'll just watch it! Nothing much's on anyway.
I just surfed through tons of P!ATD stuff, and watched some videos, MCR and P!ATD... well, that's about it. Gotta go! Time to shed off some of the weight I gained yesterday. It's swimming time! Woo-hoo.

That's the "CUTTING-CAKE" session for yesterday. Yeah, so I know tomorrow's my REAL birthday, so this is a bit of like a "play-cheat" thingy. I wanna go out tomorrow. There's no way I'm staying home tomorrow. Not on my BIRTHDAY! I know, it's like any other day 'cos it's only 24 hours and I'll probably spend around 8 of those hours sleeping. I think I wanna go catch a good movie. Is Eragon out yet? I shall go check. If not, gah... I don't know... We'll see. Tomorrow's tickets are not so bad.
My stupid computer is like, a few months old and it blurdy lags. It's some Core Duo rubbish. But it lags. Oh, talk about insufficient C Drive disc space.

Hey people!I'm turning 17 next Monday! Gotta thwart my profile pages everywhere already. Well, I'm actually celebrating it now. As in, I have a "party" gathering thingy with my family... and maternal family. Oh well. TRE COOL's BDAY is TODAY! You know? That GREEN DAY drummer! That OH-SO-AHHHHH Green Day drummer?! With the *whistles* great name. Who's born in GERMANY?!

Exam's OVER! I'm glad at that!
I made a last minute decision to hang out with the gals (uhm... 5 of us) at Orchard. Since it's after exams you see... I went to pick up 2 nail polish (black and white), and also had dinner at Nooch. Then we took a walk and slacked at Starbucks till late.
It was alright, tried the peppermint mocha which was cool. I mean, literally.
I just got smarties chocolates from my 5th Aunt, oh! It's from London. Then they gave me and ANG BAO too! yay. haha. I think it's for my cd... I'm gonna get something. Top up on my music collection. Ahh, I would love the pictures. If there were to be any!
I think I shall update till here, I'm having a block now. Can't think of much to say. Take care now, byebye then. Or is it take care then, bye bye now. Yeah. I think it's the latter. Hey, watch Ace Ventura when nature calls! You'll get it.
