Well, I wanted to watch Coraline.

But it didn't work, so I watched Planet 51. Cute aliens and watchable plot. Funny moments and all.

Then I watched (500) Days of Summer and realised what a beautiful film it is! *applauds marc webb*

I kind of feel like getting a bunch of 120mm film from Chiff Cameras and making a lil' B&W stop motion film. But then again, I don't know.

Let's see.

Love love love the cinematography here. I don't know any more film making terms than those but yeah, I don't know. Really enjoyed the music too.

Especially, "She's Got You High" by Mumm-ra.

A lil' something from Joseph Gordon Levitt:

Actors didn't use to be celebrities. A hundred years ago, they put the theaters next to the brothels. Actors were poor. Celebrities used to be kings and queens. Then the United States abolished monarchy, and now there's this coming together of show business and celebrity. I don't think it's healthy. I don't want to sound self-important, but all these celebrity shows and magazines - it comes from us, from Hollywood, from our country. We're the ones creating it. And I think it works in close step with a lot of other bad things that are happening in the world. It promotes greed, it promotes being selfish and it promotes this ladder, where you're a better person if you have more money. It's not at all about the work itself. Don't get me wrong. I love movies. But this myth of celebrity has nothing to do with movies.

By the way, I did get the Diana Aviator in the end. I paid... let me check...

S$93.48 for it!

I've yet to get my 120mm film to experiment with though! First official LOMOLOMO!

Lookin' like MJ?

Oops, just kidding.

People refuse to post unglamorous photos of themselves on their social networking sites, or their blogs. Here I am, with a photo of myself with my facial mask on, hiding my eyes from the camera (ooh mysterious eh?), looking like the most unglamorous weirdo and I am glad I did so! Irony is, ain't the point of this mask... you know what I mean, I need not explain, right?

Cam-whoring aside, people still value vanity quite highly! Speaking of which I hastily fell for a persuasion technique and went forth to indulge myself with these products of vanity or products leading to vanity if not for their pernicious packaging, ever so attractive and... so... "natural". Oh, The Body Shop.

If you haven't been to the warehouse sale...

You haven't got to know the unscrupulous mentality of Singaporeans. I for one, am guilty of this. Splurge on sales. Splurge on sales! Flex those muscles! Elbow those faces! Push the products rack and counters! Scream at the salespeople! It felt like a battle zone. The damage = $132 + $9.90 over two days.

THANKFULLY, mine made up only $67. Still, as a non-working professional. Oh heck, what the _ is that? I'm a freaking jobless kid wandering around in the bush looking for the right opportunity to get what I want and I guess I just blow stuff away.

I am pissed.

Seriously.

However, I should stop dissecting every mediocre bit of my job interviews and attempt to unwittingly decipher hidden meanings and the incoherent things I mentioned. I am such a walking contradiction. Looking at the people speaking the things they spoke, doing the stuff they did, aww man. Seriously? It's crazy... how could I get that kind of confidence?

HOWWWWWEVER,

I'm actually loving these products and it was quite a good deal, SO! The story ends here. :D with a nice grin right there behind the "w" and after the ". ".

*btw. I love those aviators... I never knew why we had those ray bans. AND I AWESOMELY ABSOLUTELY <3 'em!
