AWW
heart-pain!
I spent quite a sum of money yesterday. Emptied my wallet till I had just 10 cents coins left. Let me count...
$3.80 - chicken rice
$2.50 - mango sago dessert
$12 - develop fisheye film
$15 - passport photos
$15 - isic (international student identity card)
$1.60 - pl
$1.10 - bus fare (coins only!)
$12.50/3 (dvd rental)
=
$55.15*FAINTS*
In ONE DAY! That's like, more than my one week allowance gone!
And I'm not telemarketing anymore! The reason was really lame. Guess what, one fine noon, Joyce the secretary called me while I was still sleeping to tell us we need not go to work anymore. BECAUSE allegedly "AIA" found out about our "telemarketing undercover movement", and warned the "team" that they got to stop it, as they are only allowed to do so through a call centre.
That's how it is. Then again, it might just be because we really heck care about the job, and are not giving as good results as they expect. Dudes, well we know there's a reason you guys really hate it and are hiring people like us to do this job for your. Yeah well! It's not AS easy as you think to fix appointments through the phone with a screwed up list of contacts and a sucky script.
My two cents worth.
So again, I got my fisheye pictures back in an hour after sending it for developing, which is so cool! I am so proud of it, and have already put them all in a photo album which I lovingly designed a cover for. Wow. You should see it. It rocks. Haha. Okay, sounds like I'm bragging, but I'm completely loving it. Some of the photos were too dark, but the majority of it are oh-so-awesome.
The last one of my house and the street sign was my absolute pride and glory. Haha. (NAH, I'm completely exaggerating) ... Now I know which film's good for my fisheye lomo cam. -perfecto-!!!
Let me countdown...
23 DAYS to NEW YORK.And I haven't packed at all. My luggage's not bought, due to me going at the wrong time. You see, last friday I was at People's Park with Eileen and the store at which I ordered my LOGEL luggage from wasn't even open! That was absolutely disappointing. However, she got herself a POLO luggage!!! (LOL) It looked pretty good. I don't know how to "evaluate" quality but it looked like it would last. 3 locks too! Would kill time to unlock it. Haha.
I think I'm gonna upload a few pictures from my fisheye to my blog! Scanned them into the computer. My laptop's been pretty slow, so I've cleared up some space from the drives. Sadly, not enough from my C:// because it's quite senseless that it's only 15gb, when it's like, the "main" drive. UNGH- Brainless Acer. Or it might be some kind of virus? OH NO! Then that's bad. Sometimes all the applications will suddenly go blank, like completely stall, and then it would take up to like, 30 seconds for it to SLOWLY load and restore itself back to normal. It is completely annoying and frustrating.
Here's an excerpt:
How's that?
Ahhh~ Chilling out to "THE TRICK TO LIFE" - by The Hoosiers
12:45 am
I stumble when I'm writing this. It's 12.45am and I haven't started studying for my mass comm theory quiz tomorrow. I just ate salmon sushi and tuna sushi. This is building up onto something isn't it?
Not really.
I'm still thinking where on Earth I put the video camera after I brought it home (or did I?) from filming my school project last year. I can't find it, and I'm beginning to panic. What if I didn't bring it home? Gee~
And I can't concentrate on what I want to blog now, because mother's shouting really loudly with an aunt over the phone. Haha. Very funny. It's such a joke. They're getting very agitated. And I'm getting superbly pissed at the environmental noise pollution. Aiyo!
I think I got to wake up early to study.
Yesterday I woke at 9.30am to jog at the track, saw 5 squirrels on a tree, and one of them was on a really low branch, chewing at a huge -I don't know what-, some kind of nut. Also, I finished taking photos on my fisheye! 36 clacks and a film of roll is done! OH OH! I watched The Chronicles of Narnia, and The Devil Wears Prada too. What a predictable ending for TDWP. Oh yeah, both THEs. How epic is that. -snickers-
This is getting very stale~~~
Watching the SIA website for so long for the 11th August price to drop back to $3007 was mind-numbing, but I booked the tickets! YAY. 12th August though. Well, we'll just see... if can change then alright, otherwise, just let it be. :)
