What's the difference between a journal and a diary?

I remembered the first time I thought of penning a diary was when I was holidaying somewhere... in a country ... not in Singapore. I got myself an absolutely gorgeous looking diary (which was pretty thin and cheap) - dig the cover though! So I wrote about what I did, and was really deemed on it being a total secret, like what people always say, the diary is where you keep your innermost emotions and thoughts in. No one's supposed to know anything you put in it. AT ALL!

But I wrote not of my thoughts, but the stuff I did that day. It was like I was recording how I spent my day. Oh. Uhm, mom asked me to show it to an uncle of mine to "check" if that was the way a diary entry should be written. I was such a kid. You know... primary school... WHATever. It was so weird. AND he told me I should write about my feelings instead of daily recounts!

UHM.
OKAY~

I wrote some crappy thoughts following that very first post. I think I still have the date and some doodles of a helicopter. Oh. I got myself another diary! It's free. I mean, a gift, from one of the aunts. It was so long ago, of course I can't remember. It's pretty thick. Almost to the brim now. It's really funny reading the older diary entries, and the really kiddy stuff I used to write about. So it's good keeping a diary. Haha. You could whip it out and take some time to laugh about yourself and the silly or pretty cool stuff you ever did.

School's been pretty much the same, feeling the pinch with the assignments coming in. Time sorta flies, I read in one of the communications textbook that when someone is tired, time goes really slowly, and when they're really energetic, time flies by like... SPEED. Haha... Oh well. Maybe.

It's just psychological.

I want some stuff. I want to watch Heroes. I want to buy OKGo's album, "Oh No". I want to buy The Automatic's album, "Not Accepted Anywhere". Also, there's The Feeling's album... I want more albums to fill my aesthetic needs. Maslow. Haha. The Hierarchy of Needs. Oh well, just can't remember them.

Been playing some guitar too... but, it's not been pretty good. I know!!! It's my nails. They're too long. At least I know a few chords =] So I could play some songs. I so gotta expand my memory of chords. What else... I haven't been drumming for months. FEELING the URGE! I used to carry drumsticks to school every week in the first sememster. It's so funny now my Tre Cool Zildgian sticks are resting by my bedside. It should be put to good use soon.

OH BTW, I'm really in ♥ with Hot Hot Heat's music!!! And the frontman's HAIR!
Check out their site to check out their spunky music and his absolutely fabulous HAIR!
