So, here I sit with my half-painted nails. I mean, the left's painted but the right's not. If you get what I mean. Just read a bit of Franz Ferdinand's Band Blog. It's good they have this kinda stuff. It lets fans get to know a bit more about them. My current nail polish is... GREEN! Oh, haha... don't worry about me turning into a witch. I ain't going nowhere to evil-witchy-fairy-land. I'm just trying out a new colour. My computer's so crashy. Oh gosh, IT's TRASHY, I mean. I started at 12pm, and had to keep re-starting it till 1.40pm. What A crappy thing to do. I think it's infected with a virus... Poor little guy.

So I have to do all these things like writing blogs in a low-colour, super-enlarged, blinking screen. Oh! What a bother. Oh yea! Just a bit on the one-night-only, sold-out Franz Ferdinand concert I went with Hong Yong. We had gotten the $48 tickets just the night before and went there cheerfully, with super angst on meeting one of our favourite bands. I love their heart-pumping, adrenaline-filled way of expressing themselves through fast, non-stopping and amazing music. Where'd they get all their ideas from? Some songs don't even make much sense. But mostly, of course, the word "chim" English comes to mind to Singaporeans on these "Ang-mohs" from Scotland. Their music is good! That's why I'm listening to them. The concert was one hell of a good rock concert man, all the way from "This Boy" to "This Fire", every single song is filled with so much energy, bursting at the seams. Really, no wonder they're so popular, having so many sold-out concerts. A pity I couldn't fork out enough money to buy free standing tickets. We could have had received a greater impact of the whole show. We had to use the binoculars to be able to see their smiling faces.

Well, there's something really funny I ought to tell you all. During the concert, frontman Alex Kapranos(I can never figure out how to pronounce his surname) told every single person in the Indoor Stadium to go the the Intercontinental Hotel after the concert, well, that's obviously the hotel that they were staying in at that time, and bring food too, into the foyer(actually, "the lobby") and have a FOOD PARTY. Well, nothing funny yet huh? The funny part is, the night before their concert, they had a tiff with the General Manager because they brought food into the hotel. So it was "revenge" they were seeking. It's rather funny though. I didn't go. Well, should have gone. I could have met them up close and gotten their autographs. But it's okay. As long as their not dead, I can still get good music from them. I saw, in the Newpaper, the hotel was packed with over 100 fans and the place was a total riot. How funny. Lots of hugs and signings. Oh, what a bother. A regret that I didn't go, but it doesn't matter now. I've got lots of things to do. Helping out at my parent's store at Lido, waiting for the results of the posting of my Polytechnic course etc.
That's about all... So, until next time, have fun...(oh what the heck, I'll just finish polishing my nails).
Go see concert photos!

Well, yesterday, I went out with MJ aka BM or my dear old primary school buddy, Michelle. We went to the JAE course counselling sessions at Singapore Polytechnic and Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Didn't get much answers to our doubts though. What a bother... Early in the morning, I was expecting Ani to wake me up, but she didn't, it was my own body alarm claock that woke me up. Exactly at the time I wanna wake up, 9.00am. Weird, I looked at the clock. It was exact. But the fact that I woke up tired made me sleep another 13 minutes. When I woke up I was all in a rush to get changed.
Then, I smsed Michelle if she's out yet but she too overslept. Well, we're supposed to reach at the SAME time man... But something crappy cropped up. I waited at the bus-stop for like, 15 minutes and when I boarded the bus, I couldn't find my wallet. I DIDN'T Even bring it out man... what the heck. So, I asked the bus uncle to let me get down. I felt like a FOOL!
So I rushed home to get my wallet and set off once again, delaying the whole process... and ended up 30 minutes late. That never happened before! Till yesterday.
We watched Fun with Dick and Jane at Empress too. At 5 bucks! I say, it was worth it if you don't rush in from the hot weather. What you gotta do is buy the tickets 45 minutes before, sit down at KFC and have a drink and chit chat with your friend before heading for the movie theatre.
That's about all... I haven't submitted my application for JAE so I better do it quickly! NICE NEW BLOGSKIN I MADE EH?!

Well...
The O level results are out already. I think, it's really really crappy. It's "okay" only. Although I got A for combined humanities and english, my other subjects are really crap-laden.
I got 2As, 2Bs, 2Cs, 1E.
The E8's the dumb-old-given up Chemistry.
2Bs are the MATHS. Same grades. I don't know why I only got a C6 for Biology. I guess I'm a SCIENCE failure. I got A for Psle u know? But look what crappy results I have. My L1R4 is 16. I don't even know if I can go into Ngee Ann's Mass Comm. Though I qualify for that course's J.A.E. Last years cut-off point was 10. Gosh...
I don't even qualify for JC, having 22 for L1R5.
But a friend of mine wasn't that lucky. He's grades are really good, but having an English fail... I don't wanna say more. And Michelle J, B.m. got the SAME points as me. Also, I received a gift from Victoria. Just a souvenir for having sat beside her in class during the tumultous examinations preparation periods in class. It's really pretty. She got the same points as me too. Jo did well man, Her school's top ten. haha... A few unexpected high-scorers from my school! Oh whatever.
Oh... yesterday, we sent Second Aunt and family... plus Jojo off... they're migrating to Perth, Australia. Sobs sobs, so many people cried. All the Aunts. Mum thought my aunt went into the airport departure gates already. But when we saw her outside, mother was SO SO SO happy she broke down and cried. OH THE DRAMA!!! Then all the aunts sobbed. So touching.. I didn't cry though, with the web-cam and them coming back again, no worries. Technology's so improved, we can just use the internet to connect.
That's all. We're working at Lido's wedding fair now... So boring and HOT. I can't make up my mind though on the courses i wanna take. My mind's in a WHIRL now.
